I got this game about three weeks ago when I preordered the Legendary Edition of The Taken King and I must say I got a pretty sweet deal. Full price for the base game, the two expansion packs and The Taken King? That can't be beat. Plus I already put in more than 100 hours in this thing and holy crap is it like a drug. The shooting mechanics of this game are some of the best in any game ever and the loot ****e in me just can't stop playing this thing. There's a reason to come back to it every day whether it is the daily bounties, the weekly raids or the anticipation for Xur's next stock. The game has become pretty bare-bones again (no high level strike playlists, no Crota or Queen bounties) after the 2.0 update so I'll take this time to finish up with MGS5 but man I don't know what I'm going to do with my life after The Taken King hits.
And you know what's the thing I hate the most about Destiny? It's the prospect of what it could have been had Joseph Staten and Marty O'Donnell had their way without Activision f**king it up. I read the synopsis for the original plot and man does it sound so much more interesting than the worthless excuse of a "story" we ultimately got. From the Grimoire cards to the leaked concept art, it is clear that Destiny's vision and lore was far, far more than what we ultimately got. Damn you Bungie for selling yourselves out to the devil.
