It was requested that a quick summary was posted on the first post:

Earlier today (3/30/08) the Joker phones rec'd a text with a letter and an example (E like Elephant). It was understood by the message that there were 17 phones, so 17 letters. After hours of anagrams all we had was speculation since we didn't have all 17 letters. Slowly more letters came, and it was decided that it would be a phrase for a website. A little later, the Joker phones rec'd another text (W C W O W M) that alluded to the letters representing a whole new website. We made it to 16 of 17 letters in the puzzle - and BAM punk figured it out. (Noted that notaninja figured it out very very very shortly after punk posted.)
