I should actually amend that to say "all of Milligan's work except the Cyke mini where he revealed Sinister's backstory". That was good, but everything else(yes, X-statix too) was garbage.

I agree with Milligan's work on everything but...X-Statix...

but then you'd be missing Vaughan's run which were the best issues of the series. Id can the Ult-X issues after him, which is basically all of Kirkman

chuck austen's entire tenure at marvel, an immature writer who tried to prove he's just as good as grant morrison, when really the two are so far apart in skill its ridiculous which resulted in equally ridiculous ideas like the dominant species, polaris being magneto's daughter, and of course the draco

anything claremont's written in the past decade, let's face it, the only reason he's still writing today is because he's chris claremont, his style is so outdated it hurts.

jeff loeb's run on wolverine. first of all let me say that in my opinion jeff loeb is the most overrated overhyped writer in comics today. then the guy tries to add a new fold to wolverine's already complicated origin, which wouldn't be such a big deal except its one of the most convoluted folds i've ever seen, involving ancient talking cat people, gladiators, the unexplained repowering of feral, thorn, and wildchild, the revelation of a new mysterious mastermind from wolverine's past. on topof all of that he goes ahead and kills off sabertooth, wtf?!

I liked and miss Lobdell. He and Nicieza DEFINED the X-men experience for me...the 90s

I dunno...the 90s X-men seems to have when they enjoyed their most popular incarnation...it also catapulted Wolverine into the NAME BRAND ranks...he is like a distant cousin to Superman, Batman, Spiderman, and Wonder Woman...

also...Lobdell brought us Operation Zero Tolerance..a great read, helped with the Phalanx Covenant...which gave us Blink and the rest of Generation X..wrote an AWESOME Bishop...plus he cut his hair..which was the best decision EVER for Bishop..he did other stuff too

Loeb's Wolverine arc was actually pretty awesomely written (in Jeph Loeb fashion) and highly entertaining. And really, none of that is unforgivable or even problematic if it adds layers and possibilities without taking any away, which did happen.

Smart, well-written, entertaining, all wrapped up in neat packaging, explained, etc.

Explained? Does that mean you can tell me WTF is going on with Romulus Noodelus and why EXACTLY the Wolfen group was there and who... never mind, just asking the question has confused me...
I do like Loeb... but man that was a mish-mash.

The entire Morrison run in X-Men, followed by Casey's Uncanny run, closely followed by Morrison's run again because crap like that must be burned at least twice
