"Animation is true to the original"

...is it?

But I'm excited and pray they retire the mowhawk in season 2.

I kind of want to see Alison too. She was in the main cast of Pryde of X-Men.

In that it isn't great animation, yeah, its true to the original. I just don't think this style works well with Mir's sensibilities. The mouth flaps are an issue because they are used to being able to go a little loose with the model, which doesn't work great in this style.

Oh! So we're already guaranteed a second season? Nice. :D

Yea they were already working on the 2nd season after the finised the 1st. If I'm not mistaken, one of the voice actors said they completed their VA work back in 2020/2021

The animation actually looks pretty good here. Hm feels like the trailers did it a bit of a diservice.

Yeah animation seems to be improving the more I see and obviously they are trying to stay close to the original in a lot of ways so its probably not going to be the as good as some modern animation while trying to maintain a 90s style at the same time.

Looks fun anyway and will be checking it out for sure.

Can’t speak on his work conduct, but I knew those thirst traps he posted on social media and the OF would come back to bite him.

He even posted a full frontal once, dude was bold.

If that was an influence on him being fired then **** Disney on every level. He should be able to post his wang if he wants, disgusting puritanism for Disney to take issue with it. DeMayo is a toxic prick for a million other reasons.

I heard he made a lot of homophobic comments towards... bottoms. And myself, as a gay man, find hilarious the possibility of him being fired because of bottom shaming. But in all seriousness, they were pretty nasty comments. And I'm not sure how reliable this is.

His response to the criticism towards the black erasure in Sunspot casting did not sound good to me, so I already had an issue with him since then.

His firing makes me happy and worried at the same time. A jerk like that guy who played Shazam making a nasty comment about any minority is, obviously, unacceptable, but that's one thing. The people involved in the X-Men (directors, creators, actors, whatever) making those comments are a whole different thing. And I do not want that bad taste in my mouth.

They better investigate the actors life from birth before hiring them for the MCU. I do not want to see the actor who plays Cyclops being some sort of bigot. We cannot have that.
