x-men animated series is one of the most poular cartoons ever. how come they havent put out a season dvd set for sale yet ? or have they decided not to ? my pal bought the whole season off of ebay and the quality is crap. and thats the only place i see them for sale. im surprised they havent put it out in the market yet after all this time.

neodvds.com..or maybe its without the s..but yeah you can get them there. I have them. They aren't official but all the eps are there.

it had something to do with the rights of the show and which studio would benefit from the sales. i forget. :down

simpsons is fox and theres a simpsons dvd set out.

This show is how I grew up with the X-Men:)

I don't know. I've watched all of the original series, but it hasn't captured me enough to have me buy the DVD. It's all a bit too 90s for my liking.

I too would like to see real DVD sets of the 1990s X-Men series.

Of course, I'm still waiting for Tiny Toons to hit DVDs as well, and at this rate, it won't happen till I'm an old man.

what pisses me off is that they made a xmen evolution dvd set and not the animated one. and evolution sucked i say. also if they can make vhs tapes with the animated series then there should be no problem doing DVDs.

An old man watching a Tiny Toons dvd, something doesn't sit right with things like that :p.

I never liked the 90's series too much, the voice acting was horrid. All so melodramatic, even the guy who did Wolverine (who was by and large great) sounded way too whiny when he was being compassionate, emotional or sad.

Actually, they just released a bunch of single DVDs with sequential episodes. If you bought all of them you just eventually had the whole series. There was never an actual box set.

And in Xmen:TA Wolverines battle cry was, MEOW! Listen carefully to an ep when ever he's fighting he's yelling meow or merow.

Gambit sounded like a grade A tard on that show.

in the savage land episodes where that guy screams like hell and knocks everyone down. which comic books is he in ?

None I'd wager. The animated Mauraders (called the nasty boys) were all unique ot the show. And possibly the X-men Manga. With the exception of Vertigo.

Don't disrespect Chris Potter! :cmad:

Gambit is a tard character. Logan sounded ridiculous too particularly with that shortbus growl. Good show, I do miss it and it's continuity.
