A thread long buried now raised by nostalgia
I remember 11 years ago watching the X-Men and Spider-Man 90s cartoons for the first time, wasn't the comic reader back then, other than some DC comics and Archie comics read no comics, got my dose of Spider-Man through episodes of the older cartoons prior to the 90s before the fluke of getting Fox Kids free for two weeks, loved them
A few months back I watched some episodes of this show, was disgusted by Phoenix, Apokalypse, the Shi'ar, and the darn slow voice performance, it's slower than the old Ninja Turtles voice performance, that and some crap from the comics made me take a leave out of X-Men
A couple of weeks back I returned to X-Men, started enjoying the stuff again and got back to reading where I stopped from the early run by Claremont. Started yesterday watching X-Men 90s cartoon again, crazy enough to watch 1 full season each day, voice performance is still atrocious, stories are good enough to keep me engaged enough at least. Poor choices for voice actors are the ones hired to the roles of xavier and Wolverine, they sound bad, and there voices aren't so fitting for the characters
