Apocalypse getting rid of the nukes. And that's one of those things that sounds ridiculous in concept, but the execution was masterful.

Hmmmmmm...so many.

- Although I didn't love the unecessary alkali lake sequence I loved Scott, Jean and Nightcrawler working as a team to find and rescue the others.
- Apocalypse and the horsemen coming to collect Magneto.
- The nice moment in the jet on the way to the battle.
- The nuke scene.
- Cyclops and Beast working as a team in the battle.
- PHOENIX!!!

- Full Metal Angel
- The nukes: the music + Apocalypse's speech worked so well together
- Xavier's telepathic message to the world and his secret message to Jean.
- Nightcrawler pushing the limits of his powers - so X-meny!!

1. The opening scene, those Egyptian men are so damn fine and the ancient horsemen were just so fierce especially the last horseman standing!
2. Don't worry there's not much to see, Scott
3. You are not the only one here who can't fully control your powers
4. Psylocke slicing that car and showin' everybody how its done What an epic entrance!
5. Psylocke and Angel scene at the climax, seeing Psylocke ran in that costume was just, slay-worthy and she wrecked the top of the jet! She's so fierce! And that psionic knife was everything to me okay! Love it!!!
6. The [blackout]Phoenix Force Awakens[/blackout]. It was amazing!
7. The look that Queen Psylocke gave to everyone at the end! What an exit for such an underdeveloped character!

just as an extra point - I loved the brutality of a lot of things in the movie. It was unexpectedly violent; especially the opening and Angels transformation.

The intro sequence was lovely, despite the abuse of CGI. Those older Horsemen were boss.

Wolverine's rampage was very cool too. Probably one of the grittiest scenes in any X-Men movie. People in my theater were dead silent.

Storm's introduction and Apocalypse enhancing her powers. About time we got to know a little more of her pre-X-Men life.

The death of Magneto's family was ok too, even though you knew from the beginning where it was going.

I agree with many of the scenes mentioned but I absolutely loved Jean going into the astral plane to rescue Charles.

I knew it was coming but the slow build up was pitch perfect. Then her slow mo catwalk into the astral plane and then her eventual unleashing the Phoenix tearing Apocalypse to shreds was pure joy. I actually teared up a little.

Easily one of my favorite moments in the X-men series.

Also Fassbender's acting elevated this film a couple notches.

The man always brings his A game.

It'd be easy to say that McAvoy is far and away the best actor this franchise has had if it weren't for Fassbender consistently turning in amazing performances as Magneto. I'm biased towards Fassbender, but I keep doubting myself because McAvoy is so great.
