X-men arcade game coming to PSN and 360 next week!

I honestly can't wait for this game.

I'm not the biggest X-Men fan, they're cool, I have absolutely nothing bad to say about them :cwink:, but for some reason I'm counting down the days for this to be released.

I guess also because I'm a sucker for old school arcade games.

I feel the same. I hope we get the Avengers one down the road.

Nice!! I'll be downloading this as soon as it hits. Don't know who i'll pick though.

Hmm....Quake III is also coming out next week. Decisions, decisions.

It boils down to childhood memories, or a game franchise you hold dear to your heart. LoL. Sorry if I made your choice harder.:cwink:

Can't wait to download it.Loved it as a kid.

I'm more excited for this than any person should be.

I believe I can tell $10 "Welcome to die". I loved this thing in the arcade.

Im gonna buy it as soon as its available

I read it's supposed to be available today 12/14 for PS3 and tomorrow for XBOX. I'm waiting "patiently" for this to be released. LOVED this game as a kid.

Love it too but it's a heck of a lot shorter than I remembered. Beat it in less than a half hour.

Plan on downloading it tomorrow. I hear that online isn't that great as there is some input lag.

Does it include online co-op? Because I pretty sure I have it on my computer already... somewhere. :ninja: But online co-op would be worth it.

Man, I gotta be honest here, the nostalgia only lasted about 10 min for me. I ran through the game in less than 20min. Not sure I would pay $10 again.

That's disappointing, but it's why I haven't made the move yet. I want to get some reactions on the worthiness of a Hamilton.

Well that's the problem with these old school arcade games. They weren't designed with console mechanics, they were designed with the idea of you standing around arcade both with a couple of friends and wasting away a few hours and quarters. Putting it on a console streamlines that experience and you get a watered down version of it.

Not to say the game isn't fun, cause it is, but it's the kind of fun that lasts you less than a day. Unless you can find people who love the game so much, they don't mind running through it a few times.

yes it does...you have can 6 players online at a time

Just downloaded this.

I'll be playing this when I get home later.

Awesome, now release: Captain America and the Avengers, Spider-man Arcade Game, and The Punisher Arcade Game. Those games all rocked back in the day. I remember bouncing from one machine to the other back in the day.

And yet, Dungeons and Dragons (Tower of Doom and Shadow over Mystara), both deep arcade brawlers with awesome RPG elements, are absolutely ignored.
