X Men Evolution

Any fans of the show? It's not as good as the old series, but is still fairly entertaining....seems to take elements of the Ultimate Universe , regular comics and movies. Favourite episodes so far are the one with captain america/wolvie team up, and grim reminder. I just got season 3 so I hope that's gonna be worth it. Have they brought out season 1 or 2 in boxed sets yet, or still just individual boxed sets (I have a few already but it would be nice to have them all).

some VERY cool moments, pretty good ultimatey adaptation, not to mention the animation was miles and miles better than the old one.

I have the first season on VHS tapes somewhere but that "girls night out" episode from 2nd season really was the nail in the coffin for me, after that I never watched the series again.

I finished watching the first season dvds and I am working my way through the second season dvds.

Does any one know about the new series? Uh, Wolverine and the X-men. Is it really a continuation of Evolution? Are they gonna keep Storm and Wolverine as adults, and everyone else as older children or new recruits?

Ok yeah that 'girl power' episode was pretty terrible, and season 1 was pretty hit and miss, but it gets MUCH better. I am halfway through season 3 and it's rather excellent, much more mature and darker than previous seasons. Its such a shame it only went four years since season 3 builds up fantastic momentum and is constantly strong.

Only just before season three mind. Magneto exposed mutants along with the Sentinel in the season two finale. I agree though. Things where a lot more interesting once the world knew of the existence of mutants.

It's just a shame the series ended when it did. It still had a lot of stories left in it.

yeah, I'm not going anywhere near that new show... it's bad enough how pimped out Wolverine's been lately, now they're not even trying to hide it anymore. completely shameless.

I like it and some epsiodes i thought where bad, but i did like it and watched it the season finals where good but i prefere the old '90s' one but this is good as its before like most of the films or during them one of the two, but its fun to watch but that epsidoe when they went shopping and had that stupid girl power thing was cheesy and very bad.
