How was that fight supposed to go down in X2, if it had made it into the film?

I don't remember the specifics, but just speculating--I guess Toad would've rejoined with Magneto after he'd escaped from prison and I guess at some point in the third act, instead of Nightcrawler following Storm around in Dark Cerebro, Toad and him would've had some kind of fight.

It's weird...some people see that tv spot and they're sold on the movie..

I showed that tv spot to some other people and they got all super cynical on me, acting like they're not interested because it looks to be all style and no substance.

Seriously? X2 as a whole you would take over ALL the other comic book movies since then. Wow. I guess to each their own, but man.....X2 was hardly any better than X1 or X3. The only good parts really were Nightcrawler in the beginning and the storming of the school. Oh and a few scenes between Xavier and Magnus.

Actually IIRC it was gonna be in the beginning of the the movie (but not necessarily the first scene). And Nightcrawler and Toad would be fighting while under the custody of Stryker. Stryker is collecting all these mutants that he has under mind control.

That is the coolest ****ing thing I have seen. This is more intense then any other X trailer or spot...ever. I cant wait for this flick.

I've not only watched it 100 times, since that review said that they were using the X-men theme from the movies, I've been watching this spot with the main themes from the three movies trying to see which one fits better with the action scenes. I know, sad.

No, Toad was somewhere in the dam. I can't remember the specifics but it involved Nightcrawler having an acrobatic battle with Toad, then rescuing Storm from a suspended cage that was in danger of breaking loose and falling, then teleporting Toad into the cage which came loose and fell, killing Toad as it crashed to the ground.
