Sequels X-Men Live-Action TV Show in Development at Fox

That's right, marvel...... Start playing ball with fox and see where this leads to.....

They probably wouldn't announce a Fantastic Four reversion before the home release, even if it happened.

Seen it (FF) listed as December 2015, but thats only one site reporting it though. Haven't seen it anywhere else, or listed on any sites yet.

F*** the MCU. I'm tired of MCU this, MCU that. I don't want this tangled in MCU s***. I don't want forced crossovers for the sake of post-credits scenes.

It will almost certinly be part of X_Men expnaded universe with FC,DOFP,apocalypse, and future spin-off films.

It will be Intresting to see what was behind the reason for marvel to co-produce 2 shows with Fox and what characters make up hellfire club.

I'm excited to hear that FOX and Marvel cooperate to please the fans (and let's be honest, to make lots of cash).
But please no X-Men in the MCU.

EDIT: I wrote now instead of no. Entirely different meaning :D

Finally.

It's hilarious that a few are backpedaling now and trying to find a new way to twist things to make sure their bias loyalty is still present. After years of debating, yall were wrong. This was inevitable. Get over the studio war bs. These two companies working together is the best thing that could happen for X-Men. Eventually more deals will be made, hopefully this is the first step for a much better relationship.

For the record, Marvel has been trying to play ball with Fox for a while. Fox is the one who turned their nose up at cooperating with them previously, which led to the rift forming between the two studios that we see today. Guess all it took for Fox to sober up was losing close to $100 million on FFINO.

Well, kudos to all us that knew this would happen, it didn't make any sense why it wouldn't.

Really liking the idea of making a Hellfire Club television show, and the fact that it's set in the 60's has to mean that it'll be tied to the movies. If not, why put it in that setting? Now I'm wondering who the lead female will be - could they bring back Emma Frost and just recast her? Or would they go with Selene?

I'm not too familiar with the Legion character, but the that fact that it'll be on F/X means they'll get a little leeway to do a lot of mature things. I wish both were going to F/X honestly.

Just to clarify, it's certainly not part of the MCU. I was asking if it was tied to the X-Men movie universe. It's more a question of whether it'll have Emma Frost and Sebastian Shaw.

Well Mad Men ended, so did The Following xD

:up::up:

Def hope to see Emma and Selene.

I don't want the X-men universe to mix with the MCU..but if this leads to the FF universe To be shared.,

I very much doubt Marvel gave up their exclusive control over Marvel branded television programming in order to share the FF.

Hope this means a new X-Men cartoon ain't far off into the future as well.

Amazon claims it's releasing on December 15, but they won't actually let you order it.

Honestly, the fact they won't let you order it despite having updated cover art and product information is a bit suspicious...

Honestly, it probably came down to money.

If Marvel gets about $100 million for both shows, plus money from syndication. I don't see Marvel or Disney walking away from such a deal.

I just wanna know if the FF are back at home.

Only interested in Hellfire to be honest and I hope that they bring back Emma and recast Jones. Also hope that a new quality animated series is in the works.

Who is this woman they're talking about who is planning to take over the world, or whatever it said in the announcement? Is it Emma Frost they're referring to there?

BTW, I thought a lot of people said Perlmutter was the big roadblock with Fox. If Loeb is involved, that means Perlmutter is too, no?

Whatever money FOX is paying - and it ain't $100 mil - is much, much less than Marvel could make by going it alone. I would be extremely surprised if early FF rights reversion wasn't part of Marvel's compensation. The only value the rights had were in what FOX could squeeze out of Marvel. And it looks like FOX cut themselves a good deal.

all reports say Perlmutter was the roadblock.question is did disney go over his head.

If it was up to him i seriously doudt the tv shows would be happening.especilly Bryan Singer,Simon Kinberg, and Lauren SHueller Donnor as executive producers on the shows.

Doesn't Perlmutter still report to Disney though?

Something's fishy about this. Need to know more about this deal above the surface level stuff.

I just want my action figures :(

And not these questionable-looking ones Hasbro has been churning out. I want a return to form for the Marvel Legends line.

Hopefully this new deal, whatever it is, is a step in that direction.
