World x-men movies in different eras

What would x-men films have looked like in different eras? assuming there was a high budget (for the time)-- what would casting, plot, etc., be like?

feel free to chime in-- I'll start:

Circa 1969- Let’s see- you’d have Angel, Cyclops, Iceman Beast, Marvel Girl, and maybe Havok & Polaris. Assuming they were able to get some A-list names, Yul Brynner would almost certainly be Professor X. Villains- magneto, blob, toad, unus; maybe scarlet witch & quicksilver.

circa 1979: Well, I’m thinking that Telly Savalas would probably be Charles Xavier. The producers could pick and choose from the original team and the post-Giant-Sized team. Cyclops- Kurt russell. Storm- pam grier. Colossus- arnold schwarzenegger. Wolverine- jack nicholson.


circa 1989: storm- Iman. Iceman- michael J.fox.

and i wonder which pop diva at the time would've been offered dazzler's role
