im so glad to glad to hear someone else say that.Meh, I never thought Morrison was as good as everyone hyped him up to be anyway.
i dont like what he's done with Batman either. the only thing i really got behind was the arc with the police trying to create their own Batmen, but everything from Black Glove to Batman, Inc. i havent liked and ive stopped reading anything with his name on it.I've said alot of times I don't like Morrison run and frank quitely art was horrible. His stuff over at DC is much better than his run on X-Men.

I loved Quietly on the X-men. His look was unconventional but it worked and I liked his runAgreed above on Quitely
I danced a jig the day his ugly, chubby, muffin-topped x-men went away
though I did like, probably about half, of Morrison's stories
i think mostly his praise comes from his ability to tell a story. i can't stand to look at his stuff either but i can't deny he has that talent. just look at the silent issue of New X-Men, you could tell exactly what was happening, as opposed to the Uncanny issue that came out at the same time.Thank you. I cannot even look at most of the stuff that was done by him on their run. All his faces are hideous. I don't understand the praise he gets.
I know this kind of stuff is subjective, but most of the time I can at least see how some people can like something, but I don't know how people can like his stuff and give it the kind of praise they do.
I agree.I think sometimes writers killing off chacraters is just a sign the writers are lazy and can't come up with anything better than a death for cheap shock value.
Nrama: Storm has the most leadership experience of this X-Men lineup. Will she be stepping up and taking charge in this story?
Gage: Yes, she instinctively takes a leadership role often, although that’s a position Brand is accustomed to as well, so that could get awkward. Storm isn’t really the drill sergeant type — this is a pretty veteran group — but she is definitely the natural field leader. And she’s had first-hand experience with the Brood, as has most of our cast, back in the memorable Claremont/Cockrum/Paul Smith stories.
Too bad thats Astonishing X-men, but I guess its a start. I wish they'd can this book. That new lineup looks horrible

Kitty, Pete, Ro, Hank, Abigail, and Lockheed
That's a lineup out of my ****ing dreams, man.
