If that was the case, then wouldn't Hope have disappeared by now? Rachel, Korvus, and the Stepfords all lost their fragments. Something was pulling them back from all corners of the universe. I assumed it was Jean getting ready to come back, but now I think Hope was unconsciously doing it so she could become the new Phoenix.

Not necesarily. Jean jsut hasnt come around to collecting her yet. There are presumably tons of fragments out there. It takes time to collect them and it hasnt been done all at once. Those characters you listed are merely the only known ones that we are aware of. There are many more across the galaxy. I dont expect Hope's full origin to be explained till Jean returns and only then will we get an answer to her Phoenix connection. besides the Christinatiy Trinity comparions are way too obvious. Jean = God, Holy Spirit = Phoenix Force and Hope = Jesus (the Messiah). You have the Lights following her like little disciples and she allegedly has a mother but no father (Immaculate Conception). I think they are gearing up to reveal her to be the physical embodiment of the PF

I actually like Hope. I loved her throughout Cable's comic. I'd be reading Generation Hope, but I don't give half a **** about the Five Lights.

Three are out. #4 is scheduled for Feb 2 according to Marvel's site, but I'm pretty sure it's not coming tomorrow.

I like it. It's not the best comic I've ever read, but I've been a huge fan of Hope ever since her introduction.

Yeah, he's the best of the bunch but that's not saying much. Gillen says they're going to be revealing more on the characters and their powers that will make them more interesting but I'm not holding my breath for it. If it weren't an X-Title I'd have dropped it by issue 2.

Wow, Cyclops leading the Xavier-minded team and Wolverine as the leader of anything? Fail right from the start.

Yea Wolverine should just stick to X-force.In fact making him leader of his own X-men makes that book useless.

Cyclops abandoned Xavier's dream long ago, too. Reinstating him as the leader of the Xavier-centric team seems like an insult to Xavier's dream, especially if Xavier himself is gonna be one of the central figures.

If Wolverine is going in this direction then he should have no business being on any Avengers team. Unless of course they are gonna build a mini event out of Logan vs Steve/Tony but that would be equally stupid.

I'd rather have Beast vs Scott.

Yeah, that seems like the smartest idea. Beast is basically the only founding X-Man who's actually stood by Xavier's ideals and not let whatever crisis du jour the X-Men are dealing with corrupt him. He's perfect to lead the Xavier-based team. Scott, meanwhile, has totally let every crisis corrupt him and basically told Xavier to stuff his dream when they 'talked' in X-Men: Legacy. Have him complete his fall and be the Magneto-supporter.

Well let's not treat Xavier like a boy scout, he's been the king of a$$hole behavior since the 80's.

Glad they are finally splitting not happy about Wolverine leading a X-team though.

Cyclops should be leading the Magneto side X-Men because thats the road his been going down the past few years away from Xaviers dream.
