This is one time I think a deal with the devil would be appropriate.

Maybe Cyke can sell Mephisto his luff/obsession with Jean for a restart.

Hmmm. The Cosmic line is dying and its writers have moved on to the X-Men.

I still don't see my Alex, Lorna, Rache, Ch'odster or Korvie. :cmad:

Asked whether the Starjammer characters of Havok, Polaris and Marvel Girl might be a loose end to tie up, the writers deferred to Lowe who said "In the next calendar year, you will see your #1 pals Alex, Lorna and Rachel."

they also said they would be in Uncanny X-force and then later took it back. I'll believe it when I see it

Carey is confirming that X-Men: Legacy is going to be a partially team centric/Rogue centric comic book with Rogue, Magneto, Gambit, and Frenzy so far on the team.

So is Frenzy good or Evil now?

Because she was all hardcore human killing acolyte before.

I wonder if Carey will explore Frenzy and Gambits past relationship. (In Fabian Nicieza's Gambit series he hinted at them being ex-lovers when they were mercenaries-for-hire)

great that we're getting a static team book besides the big faces, but if they dont start dealing with either paving the future mutants, dealing with the history of X-Men, or something along those lines, they should really get rid of the "Legacy" subtitle and just put another adjective in front of this one.....or they can toss X-Men vol.3 and give this its title back.

Wondering if it's the Frenzy from Age of X....?

Carey did say there would be ramifications from this, possibly including characters making the jump.

I wish Carey weren't so in love with Rogue. He's the best writer among the current X-comic writers, yet he spends all his time writing about her. :csad:

Yeah, that lineup/love triangle of Rogue, Mags and Remy bored the hell out of me in the 90's, it's not gonna do anything for me now.

Rick Remender is clearly the best X-book writer. Followed by Jason Aaron. Age of X and his ridiculous amount of focus on Rogue has made my opinion of Carey drop quite a bit.

The book ALREADY is focusing on Rogue and Magneto. He uses Gambit to follow Rogue around as well. Only thing new about it is Frenzy and hopefully dumping the X-brats

The X-Brats are my favorite part of the book :(

Fine! Drop them... but give them their own book again! Or co-star them in Generation Hope.

Frankly, I think the main reason they were added was to act as "batteries" for Rogue. She's utterly useless by herself these days, so the kids serve as an endless supply of powers for her

A new New/Young X-Men book would be good. It would be a good way to shove Pixie out of Uncanny X-Men/New Mutants while giving some attention to some awesome younger X-Men.

They're not dumping the kids, but probably scaling back the focus on them for a little:

The young mutants in the current cast won't necessarily play into future stories as much since Rogue will be leaving Utopia, but Carey said, "There are characters we'll be coming back to. We haven't put on this spotlight to abandon them."

X-Titles with set teams like Uncanny X-Force and New Mutants work better because they can explore the characters relationships, team dynamics, give characters space to grow, handle storylines easier that rotating casts X-titles.

Anyone else think that Frenzy's only purpose in Legacy will be for Carey to eventually "feed" her to Rogue, this restoring her superstrength?
