Flipped through All New X-Men issues 2 & 3. Some genuinely amusing bits, such as the past Iceman and present Iceman's reactions to each other, still not sure if I truly want to invest in the book even though it's the only X-title I have anything resembling interest in.

ANXM#3 wasn't as good as the first. Emma's dialog was awful! And it felt like there were a lot if plot holes and inconsistencies. Next issue should be better though.

The sanctimonious preaching from other X-Men at Scott is funny. Emma going off about Scott killing Xavier when she killed her own sister and a bunch of humans in the Hellfire Club.

Meh.. Perhaps this Xavier was a Skrull..like when Wolverine killed him. Xavier has been attacked/killed by his own students more than a few times.

When ever Prof X dies, I must admit I tend not to worry. He's died/disappeared a good few times and returned.

I like to think Charles jumped out of his body and into a hitherto unknown spare clone body he had hidden underground in Westchester.

Sadly, I have a feeling this might be a long hiatus for him... like Jean hiatus. I hope I'm wrong because Bendis writes a pretty awesome Xavier, but I just don't see it happening anytime in the next 5 or 6 years.

When Bendis leaves the X-franchise, he'll bring him back in the final arc.

Even before they killed him off he wasn't around much in the books I read. I don't really miss him...

I think I miss him because 1) Carey made him cool again, and then 2) Bendis brought him into AvX and wrote him "like a boss" only to kill him off. He teased me

Yeah well, it's not as bad as when Loeb dusted off my favorite Wild Child just so Omega Red could kill him off in a vat of boiling metal, terminator style. That sucked ass.

I skipped that storyline. I knew Wild Child died but never learned how.

I liked WC during his X-Factor days.
