What was the last thing Claremont wrote? I haven't read anything from him since reading his last Uncanny X-men run around the 440s.

He's written other stuff, but recently seems to only be X-Men. I've actually not read any of his non-X-Men work, but I recently picked up the Essential Iron Fist. Claremont in his hay day wrote the first Iron Fist ongoing, so I'm excited to get to that.

The X-men make an appearance during that run. He wrote IF when Jean Grey was roommates with Misty Knight so that's the link there

I haven't read any X-men since Astonishing, but Nuack might be enough for me to pick this up. I've loved him ever since Young Justice and those sketches look great.

I wouldn't write him off with the Nightcrawler series. If there is a character that he should be awesome to write for, Nightcrawler is it.

Personally it sounds awesome to me.

I might jump on, especially since it seems to be 2.99. That didn't save Gambit, but I enjoy when the X-men get away from the group and have solo adventures.

I'm a little wary of Claremont, but I'll give the new Nightcrawler series a try. Although I haven't heard anything about Nauck leaving Invincible Universe, so I wonder if he's gonna try to juggle both.

I have more hope with the Nightcrawler ongoing than I would with most new Claremont books because he tends to treat his favorites very well, and Nightcrawler has always been one of his babies.

I dont know. Storm, Wolverine, Nightcrawler, Rachel and Psylocke are among his favorites and they made up the roster during his last Uncanny stint, which sucked. His characterization is rarely a problem; its the stories just arent interesting

I really wish they would give Claremont something else like Daredevil or something. He did a lot of the original Marvel Team Up years ago. He knows more than just the X-Men.
