All New X-men needs to go away
and please Marvel, let anyone else draw X-Force, let a High School art class take a crack at it, couldn't look much worse

I'll admit... I hesitated when scrolling. That darn kitty in his arms is just so... I want it.

I love Gambit, and Gambit with kitty cats is just too much. :D

Its easily been the best book for me but the concept behind it is horrible and shouldnt have lasted more than a year. As much as Ive enjoyed reading it, these kids should have returned to the past and I have no idea why they are still around. Its all very contrived for the sake of wanting Jean around without actually bringing back the real deal. Lets face it, ANX could be marketted as a Jean solo with the rest of the characters making up her supporting cast as she has been the main and lead star since it began and continues to be so. TeenScott has had his moments but Angel, Beast and Iceman all feel rather irrelevant. The four of them make it extra contrived considering there's already older versions of them around. They could have gotten rid of them past the first arc and had it be a series about how this teen Jean adjusts to life in a new world as thats been the focus of it anyway.

So wait, let me get this straight:
Corsair just shows up out of nowhere back from the dead?

I just read that Greg Rucka is doing a young Cyclops series and [BLACKOUT]it deals with him and Corsair meeting for the first time.....again.[/BLACKOUT]

I thought Rucka had a falling out with Marvel over Punisher....? Hmmmm, this might be hard for me to ignore......

What? Where'd you hear that?

And yeah... I WTF'd on that last page too. But at least Bendis quickly acknowledged it. I just hope we're given an actual explanation unlike similar situations in the past.

Huh... I don't even know what to think about that. I'm kinda excited I guess, but at the same time I just feel like they're milking this whole O5 thing. The premise does sound interesting though. I'll likely give it a shot.

Normally I wouldn't be interested in it (I think the O5 should've gone back already), but it is written by Rucka. I might have to give it a shot.

Wow, a whole 4 or 5 issues of young Cyclops before it gets cancelled & relaunched. Or just plain cancelled.

Was anyone really calling for a young cyclops solo??
Hes only like the least interesting character ever, partly why xmen was almost s***canned back in the late 60's
Give adult cyclops his own solo, at least that would be relevant and interesting

where the hell is Corsair coming from? Is this a time displaced version as well?

It's Bendis, so I don't expect him to explain at all why Corsair is alive or how Hepzibah ended up back in space. Wasn't she still hanging out with the X-Men having man on cat lady relations with Warpath?

I'm afraid it'll be another Thanos/Starlord situation.

Edit: It's nice to see that Korvus is with them, so he wasn't forgotten.

He could still explain it since Corsair just showed up in the last panel......but I'm sure he won't.

she hasnt done that in years. She hasnt been seen in 4 years when SWORD tried to deport her and she left to join the X-men in Utopia, but to my knowledge never actually turned up. Utopia itself hasnt been a thing in over a year so her whereabouts have been unaccounted for for quite some time. She being seen in space now doesnt really need much explanation bc we could assume she went back at any point since her her last appearance in SWORD and now

You could see her on Utopia still with the X-Men in the early issues of Avengers vs X-Men.

The entire concept of the time displaced O5 is lazy writing to begin with. Instead of trying wholeheartedly to fix years of bad storytelling they would rather leave those toys broken and find new ones to play with.

Im all caught up and as expected this "Trial" makes absolutely no sense. They fully acknowledge that TeenJean didn't do that stuff so why does there need to be a trial? Did they forget the actualJean who did that stuff went on trial during DPS? I also hate how they completely ignore the fact that the Phoenix Force recently bonded with other mutants which it corrupted

ERMAGERRRRRRRRRDDDDD!!! It's that red headed girl.......except she's younger......and doesn't know what we're talking about........ERMAGERRRRRRRRDDDD!!!!! KILL! KILL!! KILL!!!!!!!!!!!

Seriously though, didn't the Shi'ar (or whomever is behind this trial), get confused that teen Jean could be Hope or, in some crazed breaking the 4th wall scenario, they are fully aware how terribly repetitive Marvel creative can be? :o

They don't even acknowledge Hope or that the PF has been "destroyed". Makes no sense. Im surprised this is coming from Gladiator of all people as he should know better

I'm starting to see those Bendis flaws that people talked so much about during his Avengers run. :(

It's Bendis, since when does respecting continuity and having stories make sense really matter?
