X-Men - Part 6

The Bamfs are the coolest thing to come out of the whole Azazel crap. I love how they went from an adorable story from the 80's to real characters.

God, its not even the real X-men, well I mean the adults that people care about but rather those stupid kids at the school. Who the heck wanted a series about Spider-man teaching a bunch of X-teens?

Boy, Marvel just can't win. Make changes to a current character, people complain. Try to introduce new characters, people complain. :csad:

Anyway, I like the new students, and I like Spider-man, so, come December, I'll be picking this series up.

I would read Spidey and the X-Men if there weren't 5 trillion Marvel books already. I can only afford so much. An odd ball title like this with a no name creative team is skippable to me. If it gets rave reviews I'll get it in trades and live with being late to the party.

-I'm just now getting back into reading comics reguarly now that a comic shop has finally opened up in my town, so I'm pretty much startin from scratch on my purchases. I like the characters in this one, so I'll be putting it on the list. Hopefully it wont disapoint. :yay:

Agreed. :D They are very amusing.

Couple questions: They got a Wolverine stripper in his cake? Cyclops lost all his old costumes to the Mole people? The **** is Miles doing in the 616?

Ther's speculation that Miles is here because Marvel is going to eventually cancel ANX and relaunch it as All New Ultimate X-men

I'm assuming that you might be joking about the first one, but Logan's infiltrating his party to get him out of a situation.

Don't really know about the second.

And on the third, it's the other way around, that group is going to the Ultimate U.

B/c the O5 will go to the Ultimate Universe or b/c the UXM are coming to 616? Either way, this sounds like a great time to drop ANX.

Hmmm. It'll be a shame to lose X-23 but getting rid if the O5 to the Ultimate Universe is best-case scenario.

The O5 finally leaving 616 but going to the Ultimate Universe and becoming the new X-Men of that reality

Like Spoons said, I wouldn't want to lose X-23 at all

but Im' down to ship out the O5, it's time to remove their time-paradoxin' asses from the 616

but then, if they get stuck in the Ultimate U and die, what then? do their 616 future counterparts die too?? Because if they stay in the Ultimate U for too long, one of them is bound to kick the bucket

If anything was going to happen by them being time displaced, it would have already happened. They've been around for months with no alterations to the timeline. I'm pretty sure their future is no longer 616 and the timeline diverged into two separate ones

^^ yeah and that's the most headache inducing part of the whole thing

during that last (stupid) x-event, young Cyke almost dying nearly killed old Cyke
now they're divergent timelines
I just don't get it

Heh, I should have known that there was some backdoor agenda when Bendis came over to the X-books. He's not just here to tell fun stories, but trying to breathe new life into the Ultimate X-Men and involve Miles Morales. No sir, not getting dragged back into that universe again.

I was fairly sure they'd just murder off the UU during the Hunger series but they didn't. That would have actually been a pretty cool way to end it all but they keep going.

I'm fairly sick of the O5 already. Maybe they'll kill/unkill/rekill Beast again for old times sake.

the only one that really matters is Jean any way. They could have made that a Jean solo and no one would notice any different as its been all about her from the very beginning. The rest have had little to do. I guess Scott has at least branched out but being in outer space almost makes him feel irrelevant now

I loved the Scott/Older Scott meetings and the Havok/Young Scott meetings but the rest was pretty meh.

Uncanny will be going back to its original numbering with issue #600 which also happens to be Bendis' finale

More original numbering. You'd think they'd just start leaving it as the original number and have anything they wanted new would be spun-off or just continued since they always reboot the numbers when it's going to hit a milestone.

They want those #1's as often as possible though. Both seem to work with getting more attention.

Wonder who the new creative team will be.

Had no idea he was leaving the book. That was a short run.
About two years. Seems typical with the way today's books work
