What? Gold and Astonishing continue to outsell Blue. While before ResurrecXion, Uncanny and eXtraordinary outsold All New. What is your basis for this "push sales" when their own book don't even sell more copies than the other core x-titles?

Please stop the bias and look at the numbers. Blue consistently does better than AXM EVERY month and that book has an all star cast of classic character. It initially did well when it debuted but month per month, it sells thousands of issues less than Blue. Gold is overall higher but its numbers are comparable to Blue

It outsold Blue from December to January. Probably the first six issues also outsold Blue. While in Feb/march/apr, blue sold more Astonishing, you know issues that didn't really prominently featured the o5. As those issues were featuring the other X-Men.

So I don't agree with your assessment. Blue #25 didn't have the o5 in the cover by the way.

Astonishing's sales have been dropping while Blue has been selling consistently better after the hype of relaunches, issues with the O5 on the cover or not. I dont care if you agree because the numbers speak for themselves. If a book farther into its run is outselling or matching a newer title, then its selling very well.

Again, I was referring to the issues that had the time displaced o5 prominently.... You really want me to believe that Blue #25 sold so well because of them when they are not even in the cover and time displaced Jean has been mia for a couple of issues now... Okay.

Blue 17 matched Astonishing 6's sales. That speaks very well of Blue and the O5 (who were on the cover but covers don't necessarily correspond with sales). The O5 were still in Blue 25 and readers know the premise of the book.

And Marvel has released the first "post book" teaser for Extermination. It is extremely boring. "House of Ideas" my ass.

That All New wasnt marketed as a flagship and didnt have Jean, but you'll believe what you want to believe.

The O5, as a package, are safe sales for Marvel.

One month. Astonishing got a spike of 50K at the start of the new arc in #7 and had a massive drop by #8 down to 31.7K. Blue's issues that month (21 and 22) did 39K and 35K and those were O5 centric issues. The numbers actually dropped after this when they were put on the backburner, yet the book still managed to do better than AXM

After the o5 are eXterminated for good, I'd like to see the Blue line up consist of

Polaris
Shen Xorn
Daken/Nightshade (just so they won't be disposable after joining the team in the 1st place)
Iceman or Rogue (if they don't join Gold as permanent)
Psylocke and some from Astonishing #1 to #12

Bloodstorm is irrelevant to me especially with the 616 Storm around. I find Jimmy Hudson so meh. Also 1 less Wolverine clone, the better.

After Extermination, Blue is likely to be cancelled. Considering the X-line isnt apart of A Fresh Start, I think Extermination will lead into a line wide refresh for the X-franchise when its all done

Well I wouldn't complain, though Astonishing is just getting a new roster and Red is still under ten issues.

Anyway, since its unlikely I would get my dream "1 X-Men team title" per month. I hope they bring back the trinity of Uncanny, Adjectiveless and Astonishing.

Reading Astonishing X-Men #6 to #11, I have to say this story arc is much better than the current story arc of Red, Blue and Gold. Even though some from the roster don't really do anything, I like the scope of it and I can sense the real danger from Proteus. However, the artwork especially in the last issue is hideous. Also, Psylocke, Rogue, Warren calling Xavier - X is just unintentionally hilarious. Like if Xavier didn't want to be called Professor X, he could have just asked them to call him by his name. Anyway, I can't wait for the epic conclusion.

Weapon X looks like it is getting a new team. I suspect it is mainly villains, based on the silhouettes and who is forming the team.

And for as big as X-classified is being hyped up to be, it doesn't appear to be spilling into the other books.

Lots of great Jean Grey stuff coming up over the next few months. I'm happy to see stories about Jean reconnecting with the world coming out. It's cool that Rosenberg is writing this Astonishing Annual.

I read the solicits for August and his story directly contradicts and isnt consistent with Storm's recent developments in BP. I wish the editors would do a better job bc the continuity is messed up
