Aren't righteous heroes supposed to go for fair fights if possible?

Let's use Cyclops as an example. WHile he does shoot people all the time, there's a reason why he's ALWAYS holding back.

Storm going berserk just seemed weird, really, considering the whole "righteous saint" angle the writers shoved down our throat for the whole flick except the few scenes she has a chance to "forgive" people.

I hate the fact that she seemingly kills Callisto. I don't know why, maybe it has to do with Storm's comic promise to not kill anybody. But it's not that. I didn't have a problem when she kills Toad in X1. But in X3, in that scene...instead of saying "Go Storm", like after Toad, you actually kinda feel bad for Callisto. It's just too cold...I don't know, for me it doesn't taste well.

I hope it didn't, taste well for you, lol.

I mean, when you think about it, Callisto WAS holding back. All she had to do was turn this into a knife/gun fight the first time around and voila.

Hell, if I had super-speed and had no moral objection to murder, that's what'd do to take down MOBS.

Anyway, the point is that when it's Storm's turn to make a similar decision regarding killing/holding back, she goes all vindicative/vengeful/berserk on us...

But then again, the whole 'Callisto being a hand-to-hand fighter rather than a knife/gun-wielding killing machine' had to do with the PG-13 rating and the good guys walking away from the first fight, but oh well...

I've said it before: the writers probably figured people would overlook said... huh... shortcomings D) because it was Halle.

Well, now that Storm is the caretaker of Xavier's legacy and estate, such a battle still may very well happen in X4.
