I was just thinking this, did the writters watch to much DragonBall before they wrote this movie, I mean, think abou it

Phoenix's power, she disolves people basically, how many times did a villain or goodguy get dissolved in the same fashion in dragonball z, I can remember quite a few

Mutant levels...... dragonball z, everyone had a power level, now they have those in the x films

ice man vs pyro, their fight scene was right out of the cartoons

Jean Grey powering up, just like a super sayon

Xavier switches his being into a different body, hhhmmmm, sounds like captian ginyu

Just a thought..........

I'd have called the thread, Dragonball X...
so yeah there's a few fx that visually seem right out of the comic/cartoon like in the Matrix revolutions and its cool dragon ball z aerial battle the end.

x-men came first of course though. It really Kinda more reminds me of king arthur and his round table of knights now that I think about it...

and as a mostly unrelated note: they should bloody make a dragon ball movie starring tony jaa already.

God no. I like Tony Jaa, I have Ong-Bak on DVD, but as long as I'm able to draw a breath a DBZ shall not be made.

if they would do it one saga at a time

do a Dragonball Z:Sayan Saga as the first movie, do a quick flashback in the begining explaining goku's origins, kinda like LOTR style expaling the rings

then do a Dragonball Z: Namek Saga

then do the DragonBall Z: androids

then lastly, DragonBall Z: cell saga


forget the Buu saga, end the quadrilogy with Goku sacraficing himself to save everyone

As long as Fox has the rights I don't want to see a DBZ movie. Knowing them, they would kill everyone off and make Vegeta the first and only Super saiyan.

agreed.. iceman vs pyro scene was so lame when they were at a stand still.. the first thing that went through my head was "that was so DBZ".. Horrible movie for true X fans..
