One thing that I was very happy to see.

One of the things I enjoyed the most out of the movie is seeing the main character Xmen fully unleash their powers, instead of a lil here or there. Storm had some fun in X2 but nothing overall sustained in a personal fight sequence. This is kinda what I mean.

Bobby Drake finally "becomes" Iceman, in the final fight w/ Pyro (bought time he can make fire) Bobby turns into the man of ice we are all used to.

Wolverine goes even more ballistic, I liked the forest fight a lot with that, had a nice predator vs. prey feel.

Storm. She kicks ass. Then she kicks some more. She takes the one chick and fries here ass so much her piercing is glowing red. She hits people with bolts. She flies....A lot.

Shadowcat was awesome, glad they introduced a new character like that (yeah i know she was in x2 but barely) cuz she went toe to toe with Juggernaut and came out awesome with it.

And despite how you think the visual effects exactly should have been like, the design for Jean Grey/Dark Phoenix was awesome, showing sheer power, not simply killing them but killing them on a molecular level, I just feel they did a cool job of showing both how powerful she could be and how violent and chaotic she was.

Ya but still no colossus and Beast was friggin amazing spot on.

pyro doesnt make the fire he controls it. Iceman was a delight to see on the bigscreen, beutifully done.

all the powers wer fantastic, and it really felt like i was watching the X-men...the first time....on screen....

 same with me.

A lot of the X-Men had their 1st opportunity in all 3 films to really let loose with their powers.

For the most part I agree.

I agree, I also thought beast was performed great

No dispute here either. I was very content with the results, finally Storm got to get down and dirty,OMG it was great. Beast was doing battle. I can't contain myself. I go again tomorrow.

I was happy to see the Cerebro doors, Magneto crushing the cars in the convoy scene, the X-Men's individual entrances at Alcatraz, Phoenix, the DNA/Cure sequence, Beast, Jean's Neighbourhood scene and the final battle.

^Yes Magneto was amazing, it gives me chills how bloody commanding he is. That was tough, damn I can't wait to see it a again.

Sadly, Cyclops was never able to unleash. How cool it would have been to see him ripping **** apart with his optic blast.

I loved Beast, the only part I didn't like was when Logan said something about being a Democrat. It was just so unrealistic in that stuation, it was obviously something that the writers thought was funny. It might have worked after everything was said and done.

Shadowcat was awesome!

As was multiple man and his shirt.

by the way someone needs to find a screencap of the MM shirt scene.

That Wolverine and Beast scene is something STRAIGHT out of the comics.

Not neccesarily exactly word for word from the comics... but that kind of exchange between the two is something that has happened in the comics many times. I was very pleased when I saw that.

And to the original poster... Pyro didn't make his flames. He never could. That's not his power. Not in the movies, cartoons, comics, video games, anywhere. Pyro doesn't create fire, he controls it. He had igniters on his hands. That's why it looked like he was creating it, because the igniter was already in the palm of his hands.

Well, I didn't like it. They're bieng attacked, and they're just joking around, it doesn't sit right with me. Especially with Jean there and all...

The Iceman moment looked great to me, until he started talking. The headbutt sounded so painful and SOLID that seing those lips move when I was imaging them being rock solid kinda distracted me. I know he can actually talk and move and do anything.. it just felt weird.

I thought wolverine was more ballistic in x2 but I liked what he did here.

Storm definitely kicked ass, loved her.

Shadowcat was kEwL.

I liked the phoenix, even though I felt the effects were a little weird, I didnt like how it looked like she was becoming a zombie or a corpse everytime she used her powers.

Pyro kicked ass too.

Colossus was underused and I thought his effects looked better on X2 :(

Beast was awesome, I heard he was a little stiff, but I thought he was insane.

And yeah I also hated the diplomat comment.

Yeah, i'll say this, and i'm a storm-hater; I thought she was pretty bad-ass in the movie and i was VERY impressed with storm in this one!!! They redeemed her character BIG time!

Same for Shadowcat! I thoroughly enjoyed her moments, and Page did a bang-up job with that character! What a cutie too!

Boddy Drake going into full-on Iceman mode, kick@$$!!!! This was one pimp moment!

Phoenix transformation? Totally scared me, and that's what it's supposed to do-righteous!

Beast? THE most redemptive part of this movie! Excellent, EXCELLENT job by Kelsey Grammar, the makeup team, and the guys who scripted him in! I might have booed this movie at the end, but with Beast's performance I never could have done it!
