Dude, it's good for JP, some buys the ddvd from other country, boot leg... so it's not bad. the 23k i discovered... was how much it earned after minusing the promo cost

If you release some movie in a country 4 months after it was released worldwide, do you really think it will make big numbers?? I bet a lot of them have their bootleg version of the movie in their computers.

i expected about 1 million. Hell, X2 opened exactly the same day as in the whole world, and it only did 0,5 million more. Thats pretty good for X3.

Even though its less than what its predecessors have made opening weekend its still impressive amount and i'm glad it finally got the go ahead in China. If it can hold this pace it will probably end up with about 10 to 20 million in Japan and China combined. Which will bring it up to 450 - 460 million as end total. With the forthcoming dvd release on the horizon Fox must be grinning from ear to ear.
