I know i'm just saying that the numbers for weekend 2 haven't been published as early as i thought they would.AznBABYBANDIT said:the numbers didnt stop, it's just that jap offiicial are always slow
Well, actually, the strategy of releasing later has worked in the past for some of Fox's superhero properties, most recently they did it with Fantastic Four. So in a way you can understand it.Fanticon said:why did it take so long to get to the asian markets like Japan and China? If they are the said to be some of the worst offenders in pirating why wasn't the movie released earlier this summer...June or July? Not all pirating originates from the country itself...so releasing it mid-summer would have been a better play for FOX imo...by now the movie must have hit the underground channels and in the long run the studio has actually suffered by holding off 3 months past X3's release date to get it out to these countries.

The superhero sequel managed just $189,000 in China, after a huge screen loss, for a $1.8 million total, while, in Japan, it fell to $1.9 million for a $6.2 million total. The international tally stands at $215.4 million.
It's finally time for a film which isn't rushed and doesn't suffer from major staff changes or last minute budget slashes.Retroman said:I wish they would quit stalling with signing a new director. I don't want a situation where they put together a script and throw the director in the mix a few months before filming starts. Its important for him or her to involved in the development process. No frankenstein script nonsense, which is what they're doing now it seems (again).
