Have not read anything about it.Celestial said:Any news on the release in China?
Its a shame the goverment there is so strick and the censors so backward. China has a population of well over a billion people. If Hollywood can tap in to that market they could make a real killing.Celestial said:With X2, Stryker could be viewed as a maverick rather than a representative of the government, whereas in X3 there are scenes of people protesting and fighting against the government.
Retroman said:As long as Bryan Singer stays away from the Wolverine movie it will be great.![]()
Hollywood Reporter said:According to sources close to the movie, "Last Stand" cost about $168 million after tax rebates.
I am i was just being sarcastic.X-Maniac said:I've just seen this comment Retro.. and am surprised. I thought you were a Singer fan and a SR fan...
In a new interview with Premiere magazine Jackman talked about how he wanted to show this and he also says it will be smaller scale film.X-Maniac said:Wolverine will no doubt be of a rating that allows kids to get to see it, but it does need to be edgy and dark, but not so serious or toned down that other comicbook characters can't exist in it comfortably.

Lol! Poor mansion, it gest destroyed every timeRetroman said:I'm curious if they kept some of the X-Men TLS sets like the Cerebro, the Danger Room, X-Jet etc. or decided to dismantle them.Hmm..
BTW speaking of sets. Did you know that the X2 mansion's interior set was reused for a major sequence in I, Robot? It was also destroyed in the process.

9 Sep is Japan's opening according to Retro's excerpt from the official site above. X2 made over $15m in Japan so I think X3 will clear $450m easily with the Japanese contribution.Storm22 said:Oh has it not been released in Japan yet? I thought the premiere was a while ago. That should get it past $450million shouldn't it?
