I noticed that it might be just alternate scenes. Most of the lines that were cut from the trailers wouldn't fit with the lines in the movie.

The Ones said:Rent it, Copy the movie and the extra disc, Tide me over till the extended cut. Extended cut comes out without the 2 hour making of, rent that. Copy that cut and put it and disc 2 in a case.

And why are people getting upset that it will not be extended? I recall reading something awhile back where Ratner stated that everything he shot was going to be in the final release. So technically, we already knew the dvd would not be extended.

A LOT of material was taken out. That's why I refuse to believe Brett Ratner on this.
If it's true, then I guess he'll make sure his Rush Hours have deleted scenes and extended editions.![]()
Psionic Force said:Actually, from what I have seen in the trailers, the scenes that, I believe you are talking about, were just different angles of what was in the final product. But Brett does say that they might be updated/added to the dvd. But I do not recall any scenes in the trailers that were NOT in the movie.
I mean, someone claimed in their review that the Sentinel head was not in the theatre release... it was. The same person said that there was no shot of the water like in the trailer, when Phoenix rose.... it was in it. And the person said that there was no mention of the name 'Phoenix' in the movie as well ... it was said 3 times in one scene.
I do not think that we are going to get anything additional in the dvd release. Tell me what you saw in trailers, that was not in the movie, and that you think we will get on the dvd?
