That's how I've been feeling for about 2 months now. But I will say the movie should'nt have been so poorly paced.

Storm should not have had such a big part. This affected me because the focus on her made it impossible to focus on Phoenix, who should have been the principle character of the film.

I'm saying, to feel in that gap, they should have at least showed her doing more to get to that point. So that we could see what she was capable of doing ya know? Ooh I know! How about let her actually give a speech next time instead of hearing it from Logan. Mabe that would have filled the gap.

The only reason I am disagreeing is because Scott is dead. If he was alive, he should be THE FIRST that they should even think about making leader, not Storm. But he is dead. And that shouldn't even have happened. You see what FOX can do?

That's exactly what I'm talking about when I said "Storm being put in charge LIKE THAT" should not have happened. "Like That" meaning that Scott just "happened" to have died and Storm just "happened" to be the next person down the line.

Yes, death is a very convenient way to change relationships or give someone a quick promotion, isn't it?

Rogue shouldn't ahve got shafted and shouldn't have taken the cure.Cyclops hsouldn't have been killed five mins into the movie.

And Xavier acting the way he did was just badly written. Out of character in the worst way possible.

He was terrified at the prospect of an uncontrolled Phoenix. He may have been acting out of character, but he had good reason to. We all act out of character if there's a massive issue affecting our lives.

I'll pick something smaller:

Psylocke, a fan favourite, shouldn't have been introduced only to have no role to play in the movie, and to later be killed off so that role couldn't be expanded upon in later movies.

Still, what should NOT have happened was that Colossus should not have been wasted. Being one of six X-Men to go in to battle, we should've seen him do much more.

OMG this just makes me laugh everytime. Isn't it funny how Ratner looked back at the movie and saw that when he said nothing, that was okay?

Psylocke shouldn't have been in it. They should have saved her for x4. She could come back but still it was a huge mistake.
