    Happy Independence Day, Guest!

Yet another Karate Kid???

I'd hate the lack of Miyagi (as would everyone) but what the hell.

Get Ralph Macchio back and make him the new trainer/wise man.

I'd pay to see that.

Daniel-San could have come back to Cali after hearing of Miyagi's demise, and decided to take over his old apartment and caring for his bonsai trees.

Is it that far of a stretch, really? Daniel kept training for years and years after the 2nd movie, maybe moved to Okinowa for awhile? And then he comes back to his old apartment complex and finds a kid who needs the same direction he once got from Miyagi?

It kinda feels like Luke/Obi-Wan I guess but I'd like to see it. We'd go full circle with Daniel, once the student, now training a new student in Miyagi's fighting style.

It might not be Rocky Balboa, folks, but I think it'd work.

i can dig it... i wonder how old the machio is now. if he can pull off "old wise man".

if im not mistaken, he is 45 now...

am I the only person who liked The Next Karate Kid?:(?

Has he finally learned to act?

hey, Macchio was awesome in Crossroads back in the day, dont diss him :o

I say no for Pat Morita being dead but if they did it like this. Miyoghi had an old war buddie who steps in to train Danials bad mannered son. Make the friend David Carradine or a made up looking older Cho Yung Phatt.

Wait why cant they do a prequel with mr Miyoghi about in his a few years back and he is played by Chow Yung Phatt and his student could be played by Tom WElling or so young guy a better actor then Macchio. At the end of the movie have the first pupil with the others at miyoghi's funeral but its just and ern with a last Pat Morita picture. That would be the way to do. It a prequel not a sequel to be a story of his life. Please no remakes.

Pat Morita was japanese, Chow Yun-Fat is chinese.
Do you want to anger people like it happened with Memoirs of a Geisha?:o

Sure this wouldn't be an artsy-fartsy film, but you get what I'm saying, right?:oldrazz:
