What they did with Carmella here was really dumb. You put the MITB holder in the ring with a ref, AND the champion is down/immobile, and she just walks away. And they cannot even be bothered to give a good reason why she didn't cash in there?

Sloppy, really sloppy.

Maybe playing mindgames? But yeah, there is no real understandable reason why she didnt cash in...really weird.

Wow that main event was utter crap.
Did vince Russo book this...the booker who did this should be fired asap.
You put two guys against each other who just ended a feud and instead of giving the champion a clean win that he desperatly needs, you give it to Randy orton...the guy who needs a win the least in this world.
Mahal is supposed to fight Nakamura at the second biggest PPV and he has no momentum because in his whole run he only had what? 4 clean wins.
What kind of stupid booking is that, what is the excuse and justification for this?

The us title feud is the best thing on smackdown currently, imagine if that would be about the wwe title.

The Tag team feud also is a lot of fun, shows that they really should give the tag team division more focus.

Im wondering if there is footage from the other side of the Lana/Charlotte sunset flip spot...im interested in that.
Im liking charlotte as a face a lot lately...but i like charlotte in general so there is not something surprising there.

Gotta squeeze as much life outta them as possible.

If it's mind games on Carmella's part, then have her explain that. As it stands, it's a plot hole.

Also I see that Vince had all of the Canadians lose as well, surprise surprise there.

Surprised that the WWE allowed Fandango to say Anal Probes.

Yeah, a short backstage fallout video or something where she explains why she hasnt cashed in is needed...otherwise its a huge plot hole that makes little sense.

the main event did not have any chair throwing.

Add me to the list of who wants to see Jinder as champion after Summerslam.

Summerslam will be the last time Cena will be a Smackdown Star

This is either weird or awesome or both:

The WWE Women's Division Championships since WrestleMania 32:

- Raw has had nine women's champions, seven of them have either been Charlotte or Sasha.
- Smackdown has had five women's champions, four of them Alexa Bliss or Naomi.

Meanwhile the Women's Division over on NXT:

She happens to be the longest reigning champion out of anyone from NXT, Raw or Smackdown. She's already surpassed the New Day in terms of the number of days as champion.

This weeks NXT highlights/thoughts

I can see poor old Angelo Dawkins getting overshadowed by his new tag team partner Montez Ford real quick. Ford's athletic ability, stamina and charisma mark him as potential star one day. Street Profits seem like a good addition to the depleted NXT tag division.

Metro Brothers looked like they just walked off the set of a college production of Grease the musical.

Almas cockily chilling on the ropes I get but I don't know why he poses like a daydreaming teenage girl when he wins.

No chill Vega needs to become a thing.

Another good addition could be ReDragon because it's the only way Fish and O'Reilly make it in NXT, especially with who's coming in after them.

GLOW Season Two has been confirmed, which is awesome. It is for sure among my top five Netflix shows after Daredevil, Bo Jack Horseman, Narcos and Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt. I am going to start catching up to Stranger Things, as I am far behind.

I liked GLOW and it was the first acting project I had seen Mark Maron in as I was only familiar with him via his Stand Up comedy. Glad to see it get a season two. Surprised that there's not much of a discussion of GLOW around here in this specific forum. I also liked that the episodes are a half hour long.

This isn't your average run of the mill dirt sheet. This is Sports Illustrated reporting that Vince McMahon is furious with Nakamura.

What is funny about that is it was Cena's fault. I believe even Cena has said so and even told Nakamura to not apologize. He takes the exploder like he is taking a backdrop. Like he didn't know what Nakamura was doing.

I dunno. The way it started looked like a belly to back suplex. Does Nakamura usually start it that way.

Yeah, you can see that Cena doesnt bend his knees enough to take momentum with him, if you are the bigger guy and all...you need to be the one who initiates the momentum of the move to land safely.
And Nakamura simply doesnt have the strength to flip a guy like cena over all the way.

It was an accident that thankfully didnt end too bad, stuff like that happens in wrestling.

Yeah. Whenever your body leaves the ground there will always be a certain level of risk. And some bumps just can't be faked.

The people who call this fake don't understand how dangerous it actually is. Guys have died in the ring from taking bumps or landing the wrong way.
