Attention WWE, the reason why Cena's US Open Challenge was so popular wasn't just because he was giving underutilized performers a shot at the belt. It was also because they were then wrestling fairly long and entertaining matches that made the other guy look good win or lose.

I cant be the only one who has the feeling they change smackdown writing/booking week all 2 weeks or so.

One episode is good but the next is...well this one.
I dont get it.

And the thing i mostly dont get is how they can mess up storys, characters etc when they have footage of how to do things right.

You have footage of nxt and how Bobby Roode needs to be done...yet they dont do that.
They have footage of how not to **** up SHINSUKE NAKAMURA, yet they do exactly that.
You have footage of cena doing the us open challenge right, yet they dont make Styles one like that.

Does road dogg really wonder why people are pissed off about his writing/booking? Seriously, how far out of touch do you need to be to not see the mess they make?

On a good note, really like gable and Benjamins theme.
Owens is money with whatever he does.
Nobody and their mothers want Mahal vs Orton again, so there is a 75% chance they will do exactly that.

I really miss the time when smackdowns booking/writing was on point and when they destroyed Raw week after week.

WWE finally managed to book a John Cena feud where I am rooting for John Cena to win. All of Roman's lines on Cena made him look like a whiny ***** who just couldn't measure up.

I laughed when Roman "forgot" his lines. Wasn't sure if it was planned or not, but it was hilarious.

I have to admit, they really have treated him like crap. He's always been a reliable guy. But you are right. This angle will probably go nowhere.

Watching him shoot promoing all the gimmicks that they've tried in the past 20 years or so, appeased the snark in me, however.

I have my doubts it will happen. As I said before, Vince will write it to where Alexa makes fun of Asuka for not speaking English, and do something to completely bury her before she is repacked as a Geisha Girl.

I'll be shocked if she shows up and remains undefeated until WrestleMania. Even if they start to book her well to start, it won't continue. She'll lose to Alexa in a meaningless PPV.

She'll be booked very poorly when she makes it to the main roster, it doesn't matter what brand she's on.

If they gave Alexa a posse to help her so she looks like an utter chicken **** heel AT ALL TIMES, I could forgive Asuka losing the streak before beating Alexa for the title in a convincing manner.

The streak isn't everything to Asuka and as history has shown us, if it is built like that, it can hurt the person when they eventually lose in a way that can't be recovered.

If done the right way, losing the streak could get Asuka over even more.
