You Get Three Wishes

My daughter and I have been watching Aladdin a lot lately, and it got me to thinking. What would I wish for? Then I wondered, what would others wish for? So, let's find out.

What would you wish for?
The rules are simple:
1. No wishing for more wishes.
2. Can't wish anyone dead.
3. Can't wish anyone back to life.
4. Can't wish for someone to fall in love with you.
Other than that, you got it.


Mine would be...
1. Perfect health for myself, my family, and my friends.
2. For my pockets to always contain exactly what I need to purchase whatever I may want.
3. The ability to fly, just like Superman.

1. To have my series of superhero novels adapted into movies by Quentin Tarantino. He can change about the books as he sees fit.
Or, y'know, just adpated by any great director, but QT would be my first choice. I suppose I could wish for the circumstances to direct them myself, but I'd rather walk into the cinema and be surprised by what another person has done with the material.

2. To be able to play the guitar as technically well as possible(without having to spend years and years practicing natch, instant guiar powers).

3. To watch the movie adpatation of 'Watchmen' with Alan Moore, with us both being stoned. It has to be his first viewing of the material, and i get to hang out with him all night discussing it, and anything else that comes to mind.

1. To win at the very least 20 million within 3 months of this wish in the powerball lotto. (meaning I have to play 1-2 times a week for wish to happen!) why? Can't wish to just have money...IRS comes a knocking like in Twilight Zone episode! So might as well "win" it.

2. Since I can't wish for love...might as well cover my bases...I wish that I AND every person I can see with my eyes in person..never get an STD. I just blew you minds Hype.

3. Wish for genie to be free if that is what he wants...If not, for Alien Ant Farm to become popular again on rock radio. Not Nickelback popular, but have every single chart and their CD's always debut in top 15 on billboard, yea, make them super popular.

It depends on if the Genie is an evil Genie that will fack with you and twist your words or change something you didn't include. But, I will go with it being a good Genie like in Aladin.

1. I wish I could have 1 billion dollars in my bank account.
2. I wish I could have the exact same super powers as Superman (Superman sucks but he has all the cool powers).
3. I wish that all my family, close friends, and myself were healthy and would live long, fruitful lives.

Ok, then, assuming the invulnerability takes care of underwater breathing, I'll just replace it with a physical adaptation ability


1. Perfect physical adaptation (body automatically adapts to its environment for best possible survival)
2. Perfect recollection (i.e., remembering languages, physical movements, events, information, facts, images)
3. Perfect response (a form of foresight and construable intuition in critical thinking on the highest possible scale)

2) To have 50 million dollars.
3) To end the economic problems of today.

On that last one, I can see the genie giving you $4000.00 in the form of 400,000 pennies, each weighing 2.5g.

It depends on if the Genie is an evil Genie that will fack with you and twist your words or change something you didn't include. But, I will go with it being a good Genie like in Aladin.

This is where the evil genie would get you. If a billion dollars randomly shows up in your bank account it would have to come from somewhere.
My guess is evil genie would have you framed for money laundering.

The second one is something I'd wish for but learning to control those powers might be difficult. You might give someone a hug and wind up crushing every bone in their body.
