A really good Marvel cartoon. One that goes back to the basics-to what made the comics great. Good animation, the right voices, & NO attempts to tie into or cash in on the movies, like the last 2 shows were.

i agree completely i'd say IRON FIST TAS as he's never been animated

X-Men Evolution is my definition of a "really good marvel cartoon." Shame it got cancelled.

I hated "Evolution" & it is my definition of an "attempt to tie into or cash in on the movies".

It was an attempt to make a buck.

Im sorry, but the greatest superhero cartoon will always be Xmen TAS. It not only had action, but it actually dealt with adult issues. They made that a terrific show, for kids and adults equal....

This Is Why We Need Another One; Something On Par W/what They Did Back Then. It Also Helped That Chris Claremont Was Involved.

It's so ironic that the "house of ideas" never seems to have any good ones. or when they do, they completely botch a series up (hulk, silver surfer), or run out of good ideas (original x-men, updated SM)... Wolverine needs to stab his claws into Joe Quesada's crotch!!!

I thought the Hulk series was great-at first. It went downhill sometime after She-Hulk was introduced.

Yeah, they ALL went downhill! even SM's first one get caught up in its own web of tricky continuity w/clones and madame web. (unfortunately)

Which made no sense to me; they saw the reaction to the Clone Saga in the comics; why bring it to the show?

it was stupid. and one could make a solid case for X-Men: Evolution b/c in my opinion it got BETTER as it went along. But it ended terribly b/c they CANCELED IT b/f it could go any deeper...shame, shame.

I wish they'd do an anthology cartoon. Really well written stories and as you said good actors in the parts. Stories could be about individual heroes or crossovers but at least it would be something different each week. And we'd get a chance to see some more obscure marvel heroes and villains without having to chance devoting an entire series to them.
I'd watch!

Something like JLU but for Marvel...I'd love that.

Hmmm-along the lines of Marvel Team-Up, maybe? Big gun one week, third stringer the next? Maybe give each a two or three part arc, just to keep it interesting & give the plots time to develop.

I think they should do a Avengers (not Ultimate Avengers) traditionally animated movie, go all out with a Disney Budget or as close to one as they can get.
They should spend about three or five years making it. Get really good and solid character designs (like Disney or Bruce Timm). They should have solid animation, no floatyness to it. No stiffness to it. Nicely colored.
They should use all the big character: Captain America, Thor, Iron Man, Wasp, Giant Man, Hawkeye, maybe even Nick Fury, Wonder Man, and Vision.
The villian could be Loki, or Ultron, or Red Skull. Maybe Kang.
And for the voices they could get some big names but focus mostly on whether or not the voice fits the character.

They should go all out for this movie, and in a cartoon they wouldn't have to worry about costumes looking silly, they work in cartoons. They also don't have to worry about budget on special effects.

A traditionally animated "The Avengers" super hero movie would defintally make money. I want to see it already.

And then after the movie, they could start an animated series staring the Avengers and have it start where the movie finished.
They could even do animated sequals to the film. And there would be lots of merchandise to go along with it. I think it would be a good business venture.

they did. it was called Justice League: Unlimited.

Marvel should really hire Bruce Timm now that he's done with the DCAU. A Daredevil or Captain America series by him would be fantastic.

As much as I liked his work, I don't want that look on a Marvel show.:down

Black Panther Cartoon or Moon Knight Cartoon.:up:
The biggest benefit there is it would create awareness of the characters, hopefully leading to better hopes for a movie.
