Young Avengers/Runaways #1

I love the reaction of the background characters.

I wish YA wasn't going away. :(

It wont be till 2007 till we get more. :(

Plus 2007 for Ultimates 3.

thank god.
My wallet can take a little breather.

A lot of my pull list was minis which all ended at once so I actually have a bit of cash to spare and what happens? My ongoings get delayed or put on hiatus.

You mean "Whenever Marvel Gets Around To It" for Ultimates 3 :(

*cries*

and both the new writer and artist don't exactly have a work ethic, it will be late x10!!

:( I will miss Hitch, NOTHING can replace him. NOTHING.....

me too.
I need to weed out the crap titles, like Sensational Spider-man and Ms. Marvel.

My g/f picks up Ms.Marvel. She has faith in it, they mildly interest me.

Sorry, It just wasn't doing it for me. I like Ms. Marvel, but i needed to get rid of something.

Hopefully Ms.Marvel's solo book will flop so she can join NA cuz that's what's gonna happen.

She told Cap she needed to "do stuff" before she'd join the team.

Ms. Marvel #1,#3 were excellent excellent reads, #2 was meh, all action.

And is your avy from Ultimate Avengers 2? B.U.M.?

I hope so, NA needs another heavy hitter.

rofl! So true.

I really liked #19 though.:O

LOL! New Avengers is too little to late for me.

If you can't sale me on a book in 6 issues or less, I'm usually done with it.

If a writer can't tell a full story in three issues(unless it's a mini or graphic novel) or less why bother? Why get suckered for something that would've if written by Stan Lee, Len Wein, Chuck Dixon or Claremont taken one or two issues? Bendis milks the gullable fan for all he's worth, instead of considering that maybe "I as a writer shouldn't cheat the fan, I should tell the story in the most dynamic and economic way possible." A 'done in one story' or a rip roaring action-packed three issues that would make Jack Kirby proud.

Guys like Bendis don't get that, Avengers isn't 'Torso', 'White-out' 'Queen&Country' or 'Sin City'.

It's F-ckin' Avengers!! A guy with a big ass Hammer! A guy wearing essentially a fighter jet! A time displaced Super Soldier! A size changing domestic duo! and comrades putting the hurt on Skrulls and genocidal robots!

It ain't Shakespear it's Big Ass Superhero Action!!

Most of my pulls a minis too, Like Ares and Nova. thank god they are gonna end soon. I can't wait to see what happens to Alexander and how Ares will join the NA.

That might have worked if I bought nu avengers but I don't so ha.

I give up.

Read it, don't read it.

Yeah, The Thing #4 and #7 are perfect examples of done in one stories and they totally own.

Bendis takes a 3 issue arc, and makes it 5 or 6. :(

I scammed over New Avengers, and never liked. #19is the first I actually bought, and kinda liked it.

Only cuz I am getting Civil War tie ins, and didnt want to be lost....:o
