I thought that cover implied Nico would die. It'd be an awfully big let-down for Vaughan to leak that a Runaway would die so early, get us all distraught over it, then induct Xavin into the Runaways only to kill him off. No one cares about Xavin. As for Molly, all the Runaways look at her like a kid sister. The cover seems to imply that the grief hits Karolina the hardest. That makes the most sense to me with Nico's death. Karolina had a big crush on her and partly left with Xavin to get away from her feelings for Nico, after all.

I'm feelin' a Karolina death. Nico would be too obvious, and all the kids would be afraid to be the leader after that. Shared leadership would get stale fast, too.

I would be very upset if she was the one to die.....even if she's not around much anymore she was always my favorites.

I liked how her wedding dress echoed her parents' costumes.

I also love the whole "burning painting" colors thing she has going on. Kind of like when you take Gary's mod (in Half-Life 2), paint a girl model a glowing color, stick a thruster up its butt and light it on fire. Makes a great Karolina model.

Just flipped through Marvel Previews and came across some Runaways interior art. If I were a stupid man, I would instantly assume that Victor bites it, as he is the only one not in the picture with everyone else surrounding a recently covered grave, and Chase is holding a shovel.

I would love to say that Marvel is smart enough to not screw up a reveal like that, but screwing Vaughan seems to be some sort of game for them, and it wouldn't be the first time such a stupid mistake occurred, to Young Avengers, no less. Conversely, the chance that Vaughan is stirring up trouble is also pretty high.
