Young Justice Cartoon - Part 4

Good ep, I loves me some Miss Martian...even if she's a hideous creature (by Earth standards, on Mars she'd probably still be a hottie).

Why does Megan look like that but Martian Manhunter's real body looks NOTHING like that?

That's because Martian Manhunter's a green martian. Miss Martian is a white martian. They're ugly suckers. That's why when the team asked her what she really looked like she just did an impression of Martian Manhunter. Bald and beetle browed.

I really liked that episode.

White Martians are butt ugly but I still really like Megan. :( :hrt:

I wonder if she'll reveal that to the rest of the team anytime soon. She kind of has to otherwise they'll keep blackmailing her with that little secret which will constantly put the team and the JL in jeopardy.

I thought white martians are bad, didnt they end up making mars lifeless and make MArtian Manhunter the last martian?

Yes, they did. Which makes J'onn's relation to her VERY interesting. Either he doesn't know that she is a white martian and he has been fooled or he knows and he sees that there's good in her.

I thought the green Martians are alive and well in the Young Justice universe?

Well doesn't Martian Manhunter also technically have two forms as well? He has the more humanoid form and then the more alien looking one (except it isn't as "ugly" as Megans White Martian form).

In the comics both of these count as her "White Martian" form right?

Maybe at some point she just reverts her look to that of the second image?

The green martians look more alien in a sense, and kinda creepy, but not monstrous. You'd be able to stand looking at J'onn in his real form.

Great episode as we get to find out where Miss Martian got her human identity that ties into Beast Boy's. Psimon is a true arch-nemesis for Miss Martian. Queen Bee is now blackmailing Miss Martian into her hands or she will reveal her true identity to the rest of her teammates. Queen Bee's voice is provided by Star Trek TNG's Marina Sirtis, who did a wonderful job. That's two cast members of Star Trek TNG that are doing voiceovers for Young Justice. :super:

Well the first one is her true form. The 2nd one is just her older self accepting somewhat who she is but keeping her humanoid looking body but just turning it white so it still isnt her true form.
So technically the same deal that J'onn has with these two forms. Except J'onn isn't ashamed of his real look but chooses the more humanoid form to normalize the situation for those on Earth.

I think eventually that will be the catharsis of her "acceptance" arc. Getting a look that's in between her true form and that of a more earthly/humanoid look.

So, I just watched the Episode myself. Boy is Megan ugly. Was hoping she'd look more like this. Still ugly, but at least with a hot body. Well, boobs at least.

He's more "Miffedman".

LOL:oldrazz:

Definetly Downgraded,... M'Gan is good for him.

Meh,.. On that thought,.. I wish she had more faith in her friends.

And don't the Justice league know that they have yet to see the true forms of the Martians? They have only seen what I would coin "Baseline Humanoid model in green" so far.

Attempting to reduce the scattershot thought process - Do you think the show would even show a flashback about the blue martians?

After rewatching the beginning, it's kind of funny how quickly Conner learned the benefits of a shapeshifter girlfriend.

Honestly speaking even if I found out about her true white martian form I'd stay with her if I were Superboy.

She can shapeshift to anyone right down to the molecular level and when you put it that way does it really matter how she originally looks like?

.....................
Based on the cartoon (This last episode) - she could do Kryptonian.

Did anyone notice at the end of the opening credits for "Hello, Megan!", it credits "Greg Vietti and Brandon Weisman" as the creators of the show? :woot:
