Arrgh, I hate that line-up soooo much

Yeah, so I'm passing on this. Boring line-up and the premise still sounds stupid to me. I'm always worried whenever creators say we'll see a side of an established character that we've never seen before as well; too often, it's because that side makes no sense.

Could they use Onyx already, I could see why they never used him with Rockslide around since they where so similar, but now Rockslides powers are much different. Rockslide is more like Iceman and Avalanche combined, while Onyx I compare to the Thing, which is who I'd usue associate with Rockslide.

Other Young X-men that need to be used are Match, Indra, Bling...

Most people where convinced that Young Avengers would suck before it came out, they figured it was a Titans rip-off. People where NOT convinced it would be good, but when they read it, boy where they wrong. So my point is, read it first. You know dont knock it until you've tried it.

I like the creativity behind Ink, but it's kinda a DEM power.

I'm generally not convinced of things until I've seen them for myself.

I just read this quote from Guggenheim:

“Like I said, Cyclops isn’t forming this group of ‘X-Men’ because that’s what he does. It’s coming out of this new Brotherhood of Evil Mutants so, it’s very serious. One of the things that Axel and I originally talked about is that this should be a battle-hardened group of kids. This not your father’s New Mutants. It’s a much darker world that they live in.”

I don't mean to be a dick, but that basically just sounds like the original X-Force's premise with Cable's dad standing in for Cable himself.

How can you be convinced something is gonna suck if you havent read it, you whole statement escapes me. It's like me being convinced a movie is gonna suck before it comes out, I can understand somebody thinking it might suck, but to be totally convinced is rediculous to me. I am not convinced that the upcoming arc in Uncanny X-Men is going to be good. This is because I have not read it yet. It may be good. It may be bad. I don't know.

Yea I am riled up Messiah Complex was so good, it hasnt even been a week since the last issue, and instead of focusing on the Marvel getting the mutants back on track, people just wanna bash on them. But whatever that is what this place is for, to freely share your opinions so whatever. And no I'm not being payed to promote this book, I'm just willing to give it a chance before i become CONVINCED that its good, bad, or great.

That post that you replied to has nothing to do with you, just because I used the word CONVINCE doesnt mean it has anything to do with you. I figure, we all just have to wait until July when the new teams will be put together. Everything for the next 5 months can be considered lighthearted damage control
