I don't recall the name of the thread being "Name Only Non-Mainstream Movies That Cross the Border That Space Moose Approves Of!" It's "Your All Time Favorite Movie" Not everybody watches what you watch. Deal with it. And how can mainstream and little appeal work together to describe a film? Mainstream means it appeals to a wide audience. This thread is a complete joke. Everyone is naming overrated, mainstream movies that have little appeal and don't cross the boarder.
Funny how hardly anyone is posting films made after the 90's or foreign movies.I don't recall the name of the thread being "Name Only Non-Mainstream Movies That Cross the Border That Space Moose Approves Of!" I can't speak for everyone here, but personally I hate European cinema and as far as films from other foreign nations, none that I have seen are my favorite. I do like some, and some are quite good, but not my all-time favorite. As far as post 1990's movies go, again, I can't speak for everyone, but there's not any that I would call my all-time favorite.Funny how hardly anyone is posting films made after the 90's or foreign movies.

I'm backing up a point I made. I'm not trying to argue, I'm just trying to point out that most of these films seem a bit 'odd' when considered the greatest since they aren't exactly art/cinema material when viewed in terms of a textual analysis. But if you really think those films are the greatest of all time, I suggest you expose yourself to a more wider range of movies.And?![]()
I made a mistake in the post. I meant films made BEFORE the 90's not AFTER. Well spotted.Even funnier that a lot of the movies you posted are pre 1990's

You do recognize the difference between best and favorite, right? My favorite Tarantino film is Jackie Brown, even though I consider that Reservoir Dogs is his best made. That's what this thread is about.I made a mistake in the post. I meant films made BEFORE the 90's not AFTER. Well spotted.
Why are you wating time talking to me? Shouldn't you be fighting crime or something? You do recognize the difference between best and favorite, right? My favorite Tarantino film is Jackie Brown, even though I consider that Reservoir Dogs is his best made. That's what this thread is about.
I misunderstood you. You meant hardly anyone's choices are pre 1990's? Most of my favorites are pre 1990's. Jackie Brown, Good Will Hunting and Crash are the only post 1990 movies I really like. But if I was to compile a list of all my favorites, not just my one all-time favorite, my list would go from the silent era to 2006.
