Least favorite:

Andrea

The Governor
Morgan

My favorite is and always gonna be Rick :word:

Why do you dislike Morgan, The Governor, Dale and Merle?

They are characters that I never really felt anything about it. Never got invested about them. It's not really "dislike"

Morgan is quite annoying with his speech's but I'm slowly getting to like him.

The Governor? Is most hate for what he has done. That's the only thing that I feel about him.

Dale is the same case like Morgan. He's quite boring and bland sometimes.

Merle is quite complicated. Sure, he had his redemption but I generally don't like dudes like him. Arrogant, Selfish and somehow a bully. He's the opposite of Daryl in every area.

With The Governor and Merle, it sounds like you're disliking bad guys for being bad guys. That's the charm of the characters. Great villains. Though Merle is more kind of anti-hero. He's an a-hole but he's got a heart.

I'm surprised you don't have Shane listed. He was completely unlikable. His character became toxic and not in a great baddie kind of way. He was just a love sick obsessed two faced *****e. I couldn't wait for him to die.

Morgan and Dale are great characters. Dale was the conscience of the group. If Dale thought something was bad then it was. He was the first one to see Shane for what he was.

Maybe. Their charm certainly doesn't affected my judgment. Take Joker for an example, he's a psychopath but he's my favorite villain ever. I just don't feel any thing about the Gorvenor.

Shane is actually one of the character that I somehow liked at the start of the series even if most people hated him. Just the start.

Morgan doesn't really have any charisma so it's a bland character for me. I can't really explain Dale...he's two sides of the coin IMO.

If you didn't feel anything about The Governor then why is he on your dislike list if you're indifferent to him?

Shane at the start wasn't being an a-hole. It's in the last 3 episodes of season 1 that he begins to turn into a psycho when Rick and Lori are all lovey dovey again.

Oh man, how did you not feel for Morgan watching his zombie wife through the scope of a rifle? Or how crazy he'd become after losing his son?

Look again,Joker.

It's not a dislike list but "least favorite",that's the way you questioned.

Yep I know that. I have two opinions about Shane so didn't ranked him.

Maybe I'm just that cold

Look again yourself. You changed your opinion in the space of a few posts. You first said you hate the Governor for what he did, then you turn around and say you don't feel anything for the character. And you wonder why I am questioning you on this.

You also said Morgan is annoying, which implies you dislike him, too.

My favourite character is definitely Michonne. Rick is a close second.

My least favourite is Lori, with Andrea as close second.

The Governor by the way is one of my favourite TV villains by the way.

Have you read the comic book version of The Governor, Oscorp? I love the TV version but the comic book one makes the TV Governor look like a boyscout.

I like both as well, but the comic Governor was a sadistic beast. The things he did to Michonne were just horrific, and her revenge was equally horrific. :wow:

There are only two fictional characters that I would gladly and unquestioningly follow into the gates of Hell, even when all other hope was lost. One is Captain America, and the other is Rick Grimes.

I think Shane was a lot more complex than that. There is very much a triangle dynamic there between Rick, Shane and Lori that intentionally brings to mind Arthur, Lancelot and Guinevere. Shane was a darker version of Lancelot: his lust for his "queen" blinded his judgment, but his love and loyalty to his "king" are as strong as the tightest bond between father and son, or brother to brother. I rate Shane's character as one of the all-time greats among fictional villains.

Michonne and Daryl are my favourites with Beth quickly rivalling them. Carl is my least favourite, he just annoys me 90% of the time with the whole trying to prove he's a man.

Favorites:

Daryl - started off not liking him because he came off as a jerk. he ended up growing on me.

The Governor - very effective villain. SE4 painted a slightly more interesting picture of him. love to hate the guy.

Hershel - liked his change in SE2. afterwards kind of a voice of reason.

characters i dislike:

Lori - never read the comics. in the series she's just poorly written and inconsistent.

she's the only one i genuinely dislike. it's more indifference than anything else for other characters.

Carol has definitely become one of my favorites. Her development throughout the series has been pretty incredible.

I don't know how some people dislike The Governor, Merle, and Dale.

Daryl is a guilty pleasure, both among the hate online and his arc in general.

Carol is identical with the fan-servicing. That scene in 5x16 where she threatens Pete... "Come at me." Cringe.

I'm glad she's around to fill the void of Andrea (in terms of a surviving Atlanta member, go away Sasha), but I'd prefer if they toned down this demolition expert/undercover/murderous Carol for the sake of catering to the fans.

Carol is fantastic and has one of the best arcs in the series. S1 Carol to S5 Carol is such a huge change. And please, don't say the A word.

Least favorite is Sasha. Hate her stupid face. Want her to die soon. Hoping she does this season. Hated her PTS and that stupid look she always ha on her face and her general attitude.

I can't accept Sasha for being an Andrea/Michonne hybrid. Her sharpshooting skills came out of nowhere. Just kill her and let Andrea go. You screwed up, it's over.

If there's one thing I learned, the writers trying to appeal to the fans and/or comics never executes well (Tyreese, The Governor, Abraham, Lilly, etc.), and it's when they go beyond the initial creation that they do better than Kirkman (Glenn, Maggie, Carol, etc.)

Sasha doesn't bother me. She's written better than her brother was which is ironic because he was a character from the source material and she was written for the show.

Another moment I enjoyed in 06x01 was when Abe asked Sasha if she was trying to kill herself by volunteering to help with the quarry. And she responds with an emotional smile "no".
