Did the Hawkeye "bow & arrow" line get a good reaction?

I died at the "Go to sleep" lines and the "Hide the zuccini" line. Not sure if it meant what I think it meant or I'm just a dirty boy, either way still hilarious.

Most have already been said but Fury's quip about the Droids "multiplying like Catholic rabbits" and the Vision's "well I was only born yesterday".

Near the end when War Machine is taking out the last of Ultron's drones and he says:
"I'm on it. Oh no I didn't say you could leave. War Machine coming at you"

Then all of a sudden, Vision flies past, takes out two drones with his head beam and then phases his arm through another ripping it apart before casually flying off.

Cut back to War Machine:
"OK. What?!"


Hahahaha, that had me in stitches, the way Rhodey says it was priceless!

i'll probably butcher most of these, but:

- rhodey trying to impress tony and thor with his story and their reaction.

- his smug yet insecure reaction when somebody's finally impressed by the story.

- thor: Jane is better.

- hawkeye's quite, sad little "nobody would know. Nobody would know" when he's
pointing the arrow at quicksilver.

- "go to sleep go to sleep go to sleep".

- hulkbusters punches hulk's tooth out. Hulk looks furious. Tony: ... I'm sorry...

- tony: Please be a secret door, please be a secret door *secret door opens* yay.

- cap: You wanting to make something doesn't mean you have to break something to do it.
Ultron: Obviously you've never made an omelette.
Tony (to thor): I swear, he beat me by a second.

- thor's expression when cap budges the hammer.

- vision: It's terribly well balanced.
Thor (out of breath, standing casually): Well if it's too top-heavy you lose control on the swing, so *shrugs*

ultron rips off ulysses's arm: Oh gee! I'm sorry, i didn't mean to do that... I bet that's going to heal up real nicely, though.

Thor, not realising he's already in one of wanda's spells "the girl tried to hex my mind. Fortunately i am mighty."

oh man AoU also has its share of solid gold moments t:

- lift Mjolnir party trick (it doesnt get old, gonna be a classic methinks)
- Vision hands Mjolnir to Thor and the Avengers has this dumbstruck look on their faces (another classic!)
- Hulk vs Hulkbuster fight= 1) Go to sleep scene 2) sucker punch scene
- all of the Steve-Tony "language" scenes and references
- the Stan Lee scene
- Banner's line "What do you mean up close??"
- everybody's reaction when Tony started to talk about how he saved everyone from the nuclear missile
- Dr Cho's lines 1) I cant help you with that (about girlfriends) 2) I dont have time for parties... is Thor gonna be there?
- Von Strucker scene where he kept asking about this well armed platoon and that well armed platoon and his henchman kept replying "But they're the Avengers"

theres more im missing im sure, but AoU is pretty funny, its just darker so it seems like its less humorous than the first one.

I thought all these were funny and the crowd I saw it with did as well. But my personal faves are Thor's face when Cap moves Mjolnir a little and everyone's reaction when Vision hands Thor Mjolnir (sp?). Also Ultron had some funny lines. One when he cuts of Klaw's arm for example.

I nearly shouted Assemble! and then when it just stopped i almost screamed "NoOoO!". Damn you, Joss lol

I agree with many of the moments already posted. I thought the humor was very well balanced and spot on. Great action and hilarious moments all around t:

There were so many great lines in the film. These are all really good actors so they're comedic timing is spot on. I would have to say all of Ultron's quips take the cake for me.

Hawkeye vs Pietro's "You didn't see that coming?" banter was funny.

Vision and Thor again were highlights. Bettany delivers his lines with such innocence and clarity as the Vision/Jarvis that it generates laughs every time.

Cap cracked the first joke.

In the very beginning, Stark said **** when he hit himself on the invisible barrier. Cap said ''Language!''

From then on, everyone took a jab at Steve for that reply.

In the end, Cap swore and Fury seized the opportunity to make fun of him.

The running gag lasted for the whole damn movie.

lol I laughed and laughed and laughed some more it was hilarious!

So many great jokes and I loved all the character interactions, even more than I did in the first movie where they all seemed to be dancing around each other more. The party scene was particularly wonderful for showing how they'd become friends.

Love the running language joke throughout the movie, and that's what "It just slipped (out") referred to.

One I haven't seen mentioned and was a favorite- Cap telling Maria - What kind of monsters would let a crazy German scientist experiment on them to protect their country.

When Cap says at the end how if Thor's hammer was in an elevator, it would lift up. Is the elevator worthy?

Strucker came off so tough in TWS, in AOU he was a total *****e out. It was unexpected but funny.

I think that was the plan, so now they can replace him with Baron Zemo.

I liked how Cap had a thing about bad language.

The "Ooh! Im sorry!" when Ultron lops Klaws arm off. His "Oh for Gods sake"

Stan Lees "Excelllsiorrrrr" after drinking Thors Asgard liquor.

Hawkeye's whole "no one would no" gag. I laughed so hard.

I also really enjoyed Hawkeye's speech to Wanda, "go to sleep, go to sleep, go to sleep", "I'm sorry", Thor's Hulk report, all of Thor's funny reactions, and everyone picking on Cap and his foul language gag.

The face of Thor when Cap kinda moved his hammer and his face of relief afterwards and subsequent mocking laugh were priceless!
