Your favorite Marvel Intro (Fanfare)

Though perhaps for many mainstream and general audience, this is not that important things when watching a movie.

But i believe for fans, seeing this intro at the beginning of the movie is giving a different feel or sensation. And for Marvel especially, since Spider-Man in 2002 until Endgame in 2019, there was a lot of variety of intro with distinct music and feels with it.

So, which the intro have giving you the most exciting, chilling feels leading up to the movie?

I have search each videos on youtube but only found this compilation. (Credit to ComicBookWarrior, the author of the video)


For me, my favorite is Phase 2 of MCU intro with Bryan Tyler's score. I think it has the most "MARVEL" feel in it.

Looking at the video, I'd say the best intro for Marvel generally is the MCU phase 2, you're right about it being the most classically 'marvel' sound.

The one that affects me most is the Endgame version, though, because it really feels like the total culmination of the mcu experiment. And the Infinity War version affects me a lot, too, though I don't think it really did before I had seen the movie - it's mainly the way that music gives me flashbacks to the ending of the film that is so effective.

Also gotta say I barely remember the film, but the intro with Elfman's score from the Ang Lee Hulk is pretty awesome, too.

A couple of those later fanfares are not what I have seen or are on the versions of the films I own.

For example, Captain Marvel’s fanfare that I have uses different music and has Stan Lee as the images with a “Thank You Stan” message at the end as it was dedicated to him. The one in the video above is not even close.

Why does the Captain Marvel intro has Sandman theme from Spider-Man 3?

My favorites might be from the 2003 Hulk film and Punisher: War Zone.

Homecoming with the classic Spidey theme. I can't understand why they didn't use it for the sequel as well, was very disappointed.
