The Reb Brown Captain America TV movies were the most disappointing to me. It was set totally modern day (he had nothing to do with WWII), he wore a motorcycle helmet, his stripes made a "V" from his shoulders to his waist instead of encirceling his body, and the sections of his shield that are supposed to be white were clear.
Spider-Man 3. For anyone who says X3, what the hell? At least Wolverine didnt pat down his hair into an oily emo mess and go Saturday Night Fever all down the street.
Mine is the Fantastic Four because they missed a golden opportunity to create something as timeless and special as the spider-man franchise.
Doom was destroyed.
All the had to do was cast competent actors (Chiklis and Evans were cool.) and write a REAL story! Doom , Reed, Ben, and Sue all at college together establishing their relationship. Doom being egotistical, not heeding Reed's advice and getting blown up.
Cut to Doom wandering to the mountains getting his doom on with the monks then Conquering Laterveria. Fast Forward to Reed and the gang going up into space to check out the cosmic storm. Doom seizing this opportunity to get his revenge sabotages the equipment causing them to get bombarded with cosmic rays! They make it back to earth safely albeit now with amazing powers and this PISSES DOOM OFF ROYALLY! So much so that he begins scheming on how to take them out permanently.
This leads to doom creating a major catastrophe in NYC (A natural disaster or perhaps the giant green monster from the cover of "The Fantastic Four #1" They defeat the monster and just when they think all is well doom appears and hands them their asses. Of course he takes them back to Laterveria to gloat (Cause he's Doom and it's what he does!) where the screw up Johnny manages to free the family and they put foot to Metal Ass saving the day! END OF STORY!
SEE HOW EASY THAT WAS! I CAME UP WITH THAT IN LIKE 2 MINS AND ITS WAAAAAAAAY BETTER THAN F4 1 & 2 combined! I'm always gonna be pissed that Marvel and Tim Story Effed Up THE FOUR! X-Men had 2 good movies The F4 had none.
The 94 Animated Series is the most accurate representation of the four on film to date!
Anyone that says Spiderman 3, hasn't seen most of those other crappy movies on this list...and if they still say Spiderman 3.....then your on drugs.
Definitely, that teaser is incredible. I can watch it right now for the 60th time and still have an enjoyable 1:58 seconds. But I can't go through 5 min. of the actual movie...shame really...^After having probably the best teaser trailer ever, Ghost Rider was such a letdown. Everytime the teaser came on in my theaters, the people always talked good things about it, and after the money shot (when GR rides off the top of the building, and whips his chain on the building), people were like "OMG, we're so going to see that!", etc.

That's wrong.
The question is not the worst on the list. It's the most disappointed. In order to be disappointed, you have to be looking forward to the movie and have high esteem for it. You are expected it to blow you away, then you are left leaving the movie with a bad taste in your mouth for not fulfilling your expectation. That is why I voted for Spider-Man 3. After have two great films, the Spider-Man franchise was yet another franchise that suffered from "The Curse of the Threequel."
X-Men: The Last Stand is close to being the most disappointing, but I always thought the Spider-Man films were much better than the X-Men films, making it not as disappointing. Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer was not as disappointing, because after watching the first one, how much more was I expecting from Tim Story?
