I don't know...I just can't see what's so dissappointing about SM3...All those things that people argue about in part three....happened in the other movies as well. All the spiderman movies have sloppy plot holes, campy humor, and over the top melodrama.... All things people complained about in the other movies...and the other things fanboys complained about....the changing of the comic stories like Venom and Sandman....They've been complaining about stuff like that from the beginning of the franchise.

So...it makes me wonder why any fan of the first two movies would go in thinking other wise. I just can't fathom it really. But that's just me.

We'll have to agree to disagree then, because I completely disagree with your post. Things that happened in the first two didn't happen in 3. I could list many reasons, but I don't want to turn this into another Spider-Man 3 thread.

I agree, i can enjoy both the F4 movies we got for what they were, but both should have been MUCH, MUCH better, the story you came up with is actually better than what we got for the first movie.

Thank you. I only wish I had been in charge of it. :woot:

Although Spider-man 3 is better than X-Men 3, I'm more disappointed with Spider-man 3 because it came off a spectacular sequel, had everyone back including the director, and they introduced one of the most popular villain in Spidey's lore (Venom). The result was a big letdown. Before I went to see X3, I already anticipated a worse movie than X1 & X2 because of the departure of Bryan Singer, and his replacement, Brett Ratner, is not known for his directorial prowess. I went in with a lowered expectation and the movie still let me down. But Spider-man 3 is a bigger disappointment.

spider-man 3... X3 least brought a few things to the table that the previous films didn't "less wolvie and friends" and actual "team" action... something sorely missing in the previous films... it was always 1 on 1 fights.

but spider-man 3... i expected quality, and expected nothing to get messed up. I was wrong

He, I read the Man-Thing: Whatever Knows Fear tpb the other night. Pretty good. Kyle Hotz's art is superb and the story had twinpeaksian feeling to it. So it made me wanting to see Man-Thing again. Couldn't watch it to the end. I don't know how I once thought it was an OK b-horror. Jesus...

Gotta say Spiderman 3, a better film than most on the list but the biggest dissapointment since the Matrix sequels in my eyes!

Spiderman 3 definitely! It had a lot to live up to and it just didnt deliver.

Daredevil.

Bare in mind that, to vote on a most disapointing movie, you need to have some expectations in the first place, if not, you can´t really say you were disappointed by it.
With that in mind, without any doubt, Daredevil.
There are many in the poll that i didn´t had any expectations either that it was going to suck.

BTW, the worst Marvel movie is, without any doubt, The Punisher (the 2004 one, not the Lundgren crap).
That movies makes Elektra be a piece of art...

That's why it is the most disapointing. Others like X3, Elektra, Blade Trinity just suck naturally. But SM3 HAD potential like Batman Forever and well...

X-men the Last Stand worst the worst just because it didnt live up to the hype. It could of been so much better had it not been rushed and maybe a better director

Spiderman 3 is ok...the fight scene at the end keeps the movie from bombing IMHO

Spider-Man 3.

It's not the worst movie on the list, but in terms of what I was expecting (something actually good; comparable to the first two films that I enjoyed) and what it turned out to be (a clunky and uneven story with impressive visuals), it's the most disappointing by far.

X3 and the F4 movies were disappointments too, but my excitement was tempered by the choice of director, some of the cast and/or rumblings from the rumor mill before I saw them. Spidey 3 had the same director, returning cast members and there wasn't anything detracting about the pre-release buzz; in fact, it was damn good. The reality of it all was polarizing. The kicker is the scenario where one of the lead antagonists is allowed to simply float away, with the same ability and motivation for his aberrant actions as before, it's a non-issue because the weepy-eyed superhero 'forgives' him. That's an extremely poor resolution and a huge WTF. They couldn't even offer a 'final swing' end sequence for a brief moment of fanboy delight. Disappointment abounded.

In hindsight, there was plenty. Nobody figured to make a big deal of it at the time but Raimi had made it known beforehand of things like Eddie and Gwen being mandated into the story, Venom only being in the final act, etc.

Most disappointed in SM3,the others on the list just did'nt have that expetations like SM3 did. Sad to say SM3 was a major let down imo, just did'nt have the punch like the first two...It just had too many WTF moments for me to be a good movie..

The entire Spider-Man Trilogy. Lose Maguire and Dunst, get Goyer writing the thing and then MAYBE we can get a better film.

Spiderman 3. It had an amazing trailer, three Fair villains, and the same team behind the first two. But The end result was a crappy movie, a general hatred for Tobey maguire and Kirsten Dunst, and unused merch.

goyer would make spider-man too dark, and too serious... sure there needs to be elements of that, but hes also about having fun. it's just funny because in the animated series i wanted to be spider-man and swing from buildings... the movies hardly make me want to be spidey :(

Spiderman 3. I loved the first two, but this one just.. let me down. ;\
