Say what you will about the movie but Tom Cruise is fantastic in War of the Worlds. After the initial attack and he gets to his house and realizes that he has people ashes all over his body, amazing acting.

Robert Downey Jr. as Iron Man - Need I say more?

Heath Ledger as Joker - seeing him in this role always makes me think of what (he) and other actors could expand to, but usually get type casted (but as well all know, we'll never get to see what type of roles he was in for next due to his tragic expiration =( R.I.P)

Alec Guiness as Obi-Wan - Hands down the best preformance in sci-fi movie history

Hugh Jackman as Wolverine - same as with Joker, I Love to see actors (that are thought of as a certain type of role) act in character so well

Martin Landau in "Ed wood".
Like Jack Nicholson said, not only a love letter to Bela Lugosi but also a love letter to actors in general:up:.

I love Ed Wood. Landau of course but also Depp was great in it.
