I didn't have anything to eat for hours so I can't blame this on food. I just woke up from a doozy of a dream where I was taking care of an infant that suddenly disappeared from its crib and I literally then had the double fake out ending where in the dream I thought I was waking up from a dream but then turns out, no, still a dream and then I thought I was awake for real only to have still been dreaming. I woke up yelling "Where's the baby?! Where's the baby?!" like a maniac. My heart is still racing.
At least we can confirm you're officially out of your dream-ception. I doubt dream me would remember mentioning that Wally West comic about him working as debt collector for the IRS to work his debts, followed Dark Sentinel telling me to make sense.

For me, I'm a continuity guy. If you make x the rules of your world. If you don't stick to it it turns me off. I'm not saying no character growth, as I love character growth. I just want the character to be recognizable. I'm also not advocating stagnation. It's just that Marvel comics has slowly moved away from feeling like Marvel to me. Spiderman was on the receiving end of a lot of bad choices, IMO. Then the X-Men, and F4 were pushed aside. Things I loved about Marvel felt like they were being drowned out.
The medium as a whole is packed to the brim with stupid retcons, these things never put me off of comic series lasting for decades. It does take me off a TV show or film series story when it happens.

Watching Star Trek 4 right now.

Jolly Jameson's father married Aunt May. Mayor Jameson was outed of his office. Jameson sr died. Peter revealed his identity to his now brother/cousin. J.J. is loyal to his family.

If my brother did not convince me to join him in enjoying bits of the current run on Spectacular Spider-Man, I'd have no idea any of this stuff happened.

The concept is so alien to me...it doesn't feel right...

Who are dude, Guts, and Krypton in that crew?

dude: Chekov
Guts: Sulu
Krypton: Maltz, the Klingon they take prisoner in Star Trek 3 and forgot about, and they find his starved carcass in the HMS Bounty's brig after the closing credits of Star Trek 4

Kirk told him that he would kill him later and then he said he lied and he's not going to kill him, in the end he just leaves him to drown to death. Kirk has some trouble making up his mind on things.

I was on Night Court in this scenario and that's all that matters to me.
