My SD cut off as Shane was coming out. Did he just announce him vs AJ at WM?

It was bad timing on the 'E's part.

Ah alright. I don't usually extend the time for SD, so the taping just cut out. Thanks. Guess they'll just show it on Talking Smack.

Isn't the WWE supposed to be a PG product? It doesn't seem that way on Smackdown Live. In the last few weeks we've seen: women calling each other the "b-word," arson, vehicular assault, assault of an authority figure and blood.

Smackdown Live is definitely not PG and I have been enjoying it.

Sorry SD, still don't give a crap about AJ vs. Shane. It's a complete and utter waste of the AJ's talents and he deserves far better. I guess for the first time ever, an AJ Styles match will be my pee break opportunity, pity.

People can call a "marquee match" all they want, but the simple fact is that the best wrestler in the company, who was the MVP of the company last year, gets stuck trying to carry the boss's middle-aged non-wrestler son (who's matches since coming back have been poor across the board) to a semi-decent match. Waste of time, waste of talent. It's pathetic that THIS is all that they have for him to do.

Becky gets jumped again, what a freaking surprise.

The show was boring, not much else to say.

I don't get the Becky thing. She apparently sells merch well, is over with younger people and is great in the ring. Why do they hate her?

Corey Graves said the same thing. AJ vs Shane meekmahan is a waste of styles talents

Randy Orton commits arson, and he gets a spot in the WrestleMania main event.

Baron Corbin commits kidnapping and attempted murder, and he gets a WrestleMania match against a former WWE Champion Even though everyone keeps saying he “crossed the line.”

AJ Styles attacks the Shane—after weeks (months?) of his genuine gripes being ignored—and he’s fired. Until he’s given a match against said Commissioner, that is. Still, Styles is the only one who has to face any repercussions in the first place. Remember fines? Corbin should have at least been fined. But there’s precedent that behaving chaotically and criminally gets you opportunities on SmackDown.

Again, how is AJ NOT the aggrieved party in all of this.

There was a rumor backstage that someone didn't like her accent, so they were going to limit her time on the mic and time as champion.

I heard that, but then she got more promos. It makes no sense.

I sense that the PTB really do like Becky, but maybe they like her too much. It's like "Okay, we know she's awesome, and we recognize she has a huge following, so we feel comfortable making her carry the Smackdown women's division and use her to put over Alexa Bliss, because we know Becky's so over that her character can handle it."

Why does this not apply to any of the big guys that Vince likes?

The roster could be completely different by the time these events occur anyways.

Now that's a great idea.

Only problem is a certain rival of his that can't be mentioned.

Even if they skipped over Benoit they could still get a nice showcase mode.

Angle vs. Taz
Angle vs. Rock
Angle vs Triple H
Angle vs. Mysterio
Angle vs. Kane
Angle vs. Hogan
Angle vs. Cena
Angle vs. Big Show
Angle vs. Brock
Angle vs. Taker
The Armageddon Hell in a Cell
Angle vs. Edge
Angle vs. Eddie

Angle vs. Mysterio for the 2K18 Showcase is unlikely to happen. Angle vs. Hogan for the Showcase is a maybe depending on the relationship between WWE and Hogan by the time the game comes out.

I still think Hogan is going to be the WWE 2K18 legend.

So... does the fact that the Smackdown Women's Title match at WrestleMania is being billed specifically as a "all the women on the roster" match rather than just a 5-way match leave the door open for a surprise Asuka debut and win?

...how long have you been watching wrestling? Austin, Rock and the rest did way worse things.

You can't add real logic to WWE logic. That just results in chaos.

I'm holding out hope for a surprise return of Harvina Whippleman or Santina Morello.

The problem is, for me, the WWE was the one who tried to add logic.
