Your 'Punisher 2' Story Summary

[SWAT]

Since most of us don't like this movie already. Make your own!

Mine is based on the Hensleigh script.

Marvel title card . We hear guns cocking and loading. Gun fire. Explosions.

News reporter 1: Former special forces Captain Francis Castle still missing...

Elevator opens. Man goes for his gun but it's too late. *BAM-BAM!* He falls dead in the elevator.

News Reporter 2: Reputed Hitman found dead...

We see a made man walking out a diner. *Smack* the top of the mans head blows open.

News Reporter 3: Ex- FBI Agent Frank Castle suspect in Vigilante Killings.


TEXAS.

Radio: Red Kile wanted for murder of 6 in an bank in Pampa, Texas...

A sedan is driving down the highway. We see in the rear-view mirror. A matte-black roadrunner.

Drives past the sedan before coming to an holt infront of the sedan.
The Red Kile gets out of the the car, screaming.

A man get's out of the roadrunner.

"-... I know who you are!"
He raises his gun. but is shot in the shoulder before he can do anything.
The man walks toward him.
"-... What are you going to do! Torture me!!?"
"- No..."

He shots him in the head, walks back to the car and drives off.

A Few days later.

The black Roadrunner drives on a bridge. revealing the city. NEW YORK.

and I got that script, like I said. And it's not all that. There are some good parts. Hensleigh script is more about other characters then Castle. My idea is to reduce that and focus on Castle.

That's got to be an diffrent script... The end fight, starts with a hatchet, then chainsaw and ends with a forklift.

Well, here is my Punisher 2 summary. The story includes elements from Volume 4, War Journal, War Zone and the MAX Series. It is set in New York and the main villain is Billy Russo/Jigsaw.

- The Punisher breaks into an old office building, where a drug deal is going on. He kills the criminals and he throwhs one of them through a window (Billy Russo) and he lands on a dumpster. Castle thinks he is dead, but before the credits start, we see one of his finger moving...

THE PUNISHER: WARZONE

Tagline: Those who work for the devil better be prepared to die for him.​

- 1 year later. The Punisher sneaks into a nightclub, where Don Cesare celebrates his 100th birthday. He kills the guests and the mob in an relentless bloodbath.

- On the way to his hideout, he watches a thief attacking a young woman in an alley. He beats up the thief, not really to save the girl, just to punish the criminal. (scene taken from Issue 1 of Volume 4)

- Introduction of Linus aka Microchip in the warehouse. He presents the Battle Van, a modified SWAT car with hightech equipment, to Castle as a "birthday gift". Then we see Frank on a laptop - War Journal Entry ... concluded.

- After Cesare's death, a power struggle among the mafia begins. Russo, now Jigsaw, rises from the shadows and plans to take over the business, killing one of his rivals. He sends some assassians after the Punisher.

- The young detective Lynn Michaels jogs in the Central Park and gets attacked by a wanted rapist. The Punisher appears and kills him, she gets hurt and he takes her to his headquarters, not knowing that she is a cop.

- Michaels wakes up, realizes who Castle is and wants to arrest him. But then it becomes clear to her that he saved her life and after Frank shows her his War Journal, clarify the atrocities of the criminals, and explains his motivations, she starts to think about it and decides not to give away his secret.

- Castle learns by an informant (Mickey from the first movie) that a new, unknown underworld boss sent some killers after him.

- Meanwhile Michaels and her older partner, the aspiring cop Eddie Dyson, learn about the hideout of the wanted child kidnapper Allen Durkin. The break into his house, without search warrant, and find pictures as well as child clothing. But Lynn becomes completely disgusted with the legal process when all evidence connecting Durkin to the missing girls is ruled as inadmissible in court.

- The Punisher forestall the killers and a massacre follows. But in his murderous frenzy he also kills one innocent woman. He is shocked and begins to doubt about his mission.

- At the site of crime, Michales identifies the woman and is shocked as well. Later she gets visited by Dyson in her house and he pushes her to lead him to Castle's hideout. Finally she agrees. But when they want to go, Jigsaw's thugs appear and capture them.

- Mickey informs the depressed Castle that Russo returned as Jigsaw and that he captured Lynn. (after that, he gets killed by a thug) Grudgingly, Frank pulls himself together and prepares for the final battle.

Castle monologue:
I have my mission. My war. A war I'll never win. The more I do, the worse things seem to get. A mob boss dies, someone else takes his place. Nothing changes. Not really. I can't kill all of them, I see a day, not too far off, when I'll be too slow then I'll be be dead and they'll go on, and nothing will have changed. There's got to be a better way. I have to find a better way.

- A wild car chase with the Punisher inside the Battle Van for the first time in action! During the showdown kills all of Jigsaw's thugs. Then he makes a deal with Dyson. He won't kill Jigsaw, leaving the imprisonment and the reward to the cop, if he lets him alone and work with him in the future. They come to an agreement and Castle leaves the scene, before the police arrives.

ok swat my bad, the one i read a bit of was a later one were jigsaw and pun ad a knife fight n pun was poppin off jigsaws stitches n stuf.n i dnt wana say who it was by coz of contract reasons.

I think if Billy Russo is going to be in this movie, then the Costa family has to be. They should make it like the Costa family is really responsible for the death of Castle's family. The Costa family is over Howard Saint. There the ones to tell them to kill Frank Castle ( although Livia Saint wanted his whole family killed). Frank Costa and the Costa family knew that Castle was still alive but Frank thought the Saints can handle him, but when they didn't, thats when Frank tells his brother Brono to do what he can to kill Castle (Brono is the one to tell Howard Saint to kill him earlier). So Brono hired to hitmen to kill castle but failed to find him. So thats when Frank Costa (he's the boss of the Costa family) hired Billy Russo to clean up the mess. Before he looks for castle, he killed the two hitmen cause they did a lousy job. Russo was able to find Castle's apartment he moved into. Russo planted a bomb in Castle's room. When Castle came in , he heard a beeping noise. When he see the bomb, he ran and jumped out of the window barely escaped explosion. But he's able to see who planted the bomb and got his licence plate number. Russo escaped thinking Castle is dead. Castle haunted him down at club Russo owned. Castle busted in and killed everybody in the party (downstares and upstares) before getting to Russo. Castle demanding him to tell whats going on or he's going to kill him. Russo told him everything, and instead of killing Russo, he kicked him though a glass fase first messing up his face to send a message to the Costa family.After Frank knew what happend to Russo,he sent Bruno andthe 2 other members of there gang;Kolsky,Hannigan and Skinner to a hideout in Florida until things quieted down, but Castle had tracked them down and first shot Hannigan in the stomach at a pool at the resort to let him die slowly so that he would tell Bruno and the rest of the 2 that they were next. Castle found there hideout and went in underwater, but before he went there he planted a bomb in the oil well. thats when everybody in there paniced. after that exposion, they knew Castle was here because they got a call from hannigan before he died that Castle is going after them. Thats when Skinner got his gun to go after him, but it didn't last long;The Punisher shot him soon as he came out the door. The Punisher was looking for Kolsky, but insted of going to the door, he chose the window. Kolsky told Castle to drop his gun. Castle was in front of an aqurariam. Then Kolsky missed Castle and the aqurariam burst and great white shark came out of the tank and killed Kolsky. The punisher was looking for Bruno but he heard a loud scream. he went to the room where the screaming was and found Bruno stab in the back of the neck. During all this time Billy Russo was having his faced fixed. After all this happend he arraned a date with a girl named Audrey. Audrey is a female assasian for a Syndicate and a call girl. Frank Costa sent Audrey to kill Bruno cause he failed to kill Castle and other things he failed on. Thats why Bruno was stabed. But when that was done Audrey moved up higher in rank in the Syndicate, and went and killed Frank Costa also. The punisher learned that Frank Costa has been with a woman and that there were party girls at that hideout and remembered her face, and found out about her from Billy Russo before his face got messed up. So he see Audrey wanted a date with her. Later She went to Castle's apartment. Just in case he puts a gun under his pillow and layed down. He told her his story and waited untill she tried to pull something. she had a dagger behind her back as she gets ready to stab him but Castle pulls his gun out of his pillow and shot her dead. After that Russo has his own gang, killing other gang members. Castle realises this. When he found Russo and his gang shots were fired. Castle killed his whole gang and about to kill Russo, but they were surounded by cops and they were both arrested.Thats when the Circle Of Blood story begins. And you know that story. All of this happend in New York. Thats where The Costa Family lives. Part 3 should be about The Trust.

[Two-Sided-Deal]

Jonathan Hesliegh does not deserve my respect, ever.

His draft of "Punisher : Warzone" had next to nothing to do with the comic's. He spared any or all story-line and added some horrible dialogue with it. He didn't even do the character justice, again. Sadden's me deeply because he actually had something good with the first movie. Starting the movie off slowly, not to fast, not to slow.

He shouldn't be allowed near the project of P2. He need's to step away, slowly.

I don't know if you're kidding or what. If it's a joke, kudos, if not, you seriously need some formatting on your page long paragraph.

I liked the Hensleigh script, as a draft anyway. There were elements that had to go... the "save the nun/tying up daredevil rewrite" would have been a disaster, the final fight with Jigsaw and Pittsy needed to be toned down a bit (though I have to admit it would have been quite a memorable scene as was, but far too fantastic for a Punisher movie.)

I liked the Stephanie West character, and she could have easily been changed to Lynn Michaels with some more character elements from the comics... the stuff with her father made for a good plot. Imagine how sweet it would be if they somehow added in the park rapist storyline that introduced her in the comics. I even liked the moment where Russo's face was destroyed in the heat of a fight as was originally the case in the comics. The use of the Holy was great too... a blood thirsty priest who mistakes the coincidence of meeting the wounded Punisher as a sign from god to keep killing.

It was filled with illogical moments, but with a couple more revisions it could have been something really worthwhile. I don't think Lions Gate could have done it though... they want a somewhat silly, barely controversial character to turn in to a summer franchise. What they really needed to do was take this draft and go "Scarface" with it... serious drama, unrelenting earth-bound violence, and questionable ethics. We're not gonna ever get that movie though, and I feel that we might as well get used to the idea.

I had this post talking about him taking out a mob family but that is not good enough.

Here is something I want to see, lets get into the punishers head a little, what drives this man to kill. I mean lets really get into his psyche. I mean think about it this guy is unbalanced we know this it is in the comics.


Here is something I would like to see at the beginning of the movie.

Castle is out patroling, walking, whatever you want to call it. When he happens on a gangland execution, lets put it in central park. He sees a family gunned down in front of him, A man his wife and his son. Castle kills the gang members involved, He walks over to check and see if its possible the civillians are still alive he rolls the body of the boy over and see's his son, this is all in his head granted, but when he rolls over the wife he see's his and when he rolls over the man he see's him. He breaks down holding the woman and child in his arms the way he did his family, the cops arrive on scene and take him into custody, the mob having bought key members of the city police see this as an opportunity to remove this major thorn from their sides. They have a group of their paid off cops try to kill him, but a good cop catches wind of it and manages to break him out before he can be killed. Soap is who I have in mind, but not even he can do this alone so why not add in the idea of the Park Rapist scenario happening right before and Lynn Michaels help Soap break him out.

We could even change the escape part, have him actually kill the dirty cops before hand and this would lead to the Police hunting him. The mob would leak it to the press and The Whole city would have it in for him, save Soap and Lynn Michaels.

He is on his own, now noone in the city want to hide a cop killer, so we have castle on his own which is when he is at his best in my opinon. Then he would start tracking down who the gangmembers worked for, and work his way up the chain.

While he is in Jail they could also have Billy Russo being held for questioning in the drunk tank with him, Russo wanting to get in even better with the higher ups in the family jump castle, agreeing to put a good word in with the Costa Family which is just one of many Familys out to get Castle, I would have them go so far as this be a Joint operation among the mob, knowing that he is causing them all trouble, have most of the prisoners be mob associates or have some tie or other. Castle would snap out of his funk when his attacked, the funk he was in during the park execution. I would like to see him take a shiv off one of the mob prisoners, he would use it to kill most of them but since russo was the one who instigates the situation he does him far worse and everytime russo gets close castle goes for his face. Adding one scar at a time until the guards arrive and taze him before he can kill russo.

I would say that the using dirty cops as a second attempt after russos plan fails, because of the fight he is locked in solitary, where noone can get to him but the crooked cops.

I am thining about starting a fan fiction sequel, can someone give me some more information on the mob families he has had to deal with in the Comics.

I know we got the Costa, Gnucci, but those are the only ones I can remember.

I would like to see a cameo by fisk in it, not as someone punisher goes after initially but as someone the familys are meeting to pay tribute to.

Here is the opening I have in mind.

It opens at Fisk tower in a waiting room with five men sitting in chairs each have breifcases, they are ushered into the office by a man with glasses, they each set their breifcases down on the floor and sit down in five chairs in front of a large desk, the man in the glasses picks up and opens each briefcase. Before handing them to Fisk. Fisk looks at Costas representative and asks where the rest of it is.

Costa's rep: Our florida interest has fallen apart. We are trying to replace him but it is going to take time to find someone with the connections saint had.

Fisk: care to elaborate?

Costas rep opens his mouth to respond when a guard comes up behind him and garote him.

Fisk not paying the dying man any attention looks at the other four: I trust you 4 will pass along the message that Castle is to be dealt with, I Know your families don't always agree and I don't care when business slows it stops and I will not have this flea slowing my business, Understood.

The other four nod and leave.

Send him back to Costa and tell him that I expect the missing money to be added to next months tribute, or I will find a new man to take his place, noone is irreplaceable in this business except me.

These five men were capos for each of the family, so killing one would definitley send the message.

I like to see Year One, Punisher War Journal, and Circle Of Blood in order all in one movie. That way the movie would make more sense.
