Age of Ultron Your worries/concerns with Age of Ultron

I'm looking forward to getting good plot twists and I'm concerned about getting bad plot twists (like, Ultron isn't the movie's true villain, he's only an oversized gumball machine that serves as a decoy for Fabian Stankowicz... such stuff).

What if Ultron is really...

Lol I'm sorry but that doesn't count as impressive action to me. More like expected action in how it's set up and how it looks.

Geez dude Hulk vs The Hulkbuster looks like something straight out of MOS.

And that doesn't impress you? My God

I hope it's as awesome as their fight in A:EMH where they collided in mid air and caused a huge shockwave.

It looks even better to me as it's not in a drab, color-muted world and we have a better handle on the personalities of the two who are fighting(this always makes a fight better).

One of the best hero vs hero fights in EMH by far.

It was cool, but the one on one was fairly one-sided as Vision hit him with all he got and Thor just got back up and started pummeling him. Just as things should be, but I doubt it will be the case in AoU. :woot:

Up until that point though it was pretty back and forth.

Hulk and Stark smashing each other into buildings? No, that doesn't impress me. It didn't impress me in MOS either(in the Zod fight specifically).

Lets not compare Hulkbuster fight to MOS yet. Lets actually see the whole thing. I mean of course its gonna be destructive, but I doubt its gonna be overkill stupid destructive. This is Joss, not Michael Bay or Snyder.

Well it's a concern, I haven't written off the action entirely. Given his action in TA and what I've seen so far, it seems we're getting the usual Whedon action here though. It'll be serviceable at a minimum, no big deal.

I dont think Joss does that in his movies, theres always more going on than just emptyheaded destruction porn. I cant judge the film until I see it but from what I saw in the new trailer it looks awesome in every way. Bigger scope, bigger action sequences. I guess that includes bigger destruction but thats what happens when Ultron and his 1000 drones come to town. What matters is what its about and the characters, the other stuff is secondary to me. It should only be the frosting on the already delicious cake.

Honestly, my standards changed for big budget action movies like this after Cap 2, John Wick, Raid 2, Snowpiercer, and Kingsman. However, AOU is on a larger scale than all of those, so I'm taking that into consideration.

^^ Im not a fan of the kind of mega destruction that was in MOS. I really dont like that film at all. I know Joss will inject much more coolness into his big action sequences. It really comes down to the directors vision. One guy doing huge destruction sequences can be really stupid and dull while the other guy can make it smart and thrilling. We'll see!

I feel the same.

Why would the action in this film be a step down from Cap 2?

What sense does that make?

There are no worries, it's gonna be a Great Film.

^I can guarantee it won't be perfect(what film is?). But I fully expect excellence.
