Yes, yes , yes there is no other answer to this question, unless you are in the harold and kumar world where police cars come out of nowhere.

I thought traffic lights were merely suggestions kinda like the speed limit.

Did you know... In Ontario the penalty for driving through a yellow is the same as driving through a red. If it's safe to stop the law requires that you do so.

Well when you go 80 on a motorcycle weaving through traffic sometimes its more dangerous to try and stop.

What you mean Cananda thats not fair because even though they have very low crime, I heard Canada Isn't that great.

I'd want to know why you'd be weaving through traffic and risk creating a deadly situation for yourself, instead of following traffic flow.

I'm a trained professional, don't try that at home.

Believe me, I won't try and ride my motorcycle through my house anytime soon.

I do not run it. No matter how deserted the streets are or how late it is. But at one particular light, you can sit there all night. At that one, when it seems broken (the opposite light has cycled several times) I will look left and right, then proceed. And if the police stop me, hopefully an explanation will suffice. If not, I think of saying, What am I supposed to do, sleep there?

No I wouldn't, those cops are sneaky people

Seconded. With my luck, a whole freaking SWAT team would descend upon me and I'd make the news :(

Depends on how late it is. I hate the dark. Sitting in your car in the middle of nowhere for 10-odd minutes and there's a chance some serial killer might break your window and kill you on the spot.

Hell yes. :o

You are not aloud to Drive through a Red light people... if i saw any of you doing that Me'Sa would call tha cops,

Define "middle of nowhere." I've already gotten two tickets in the past 9 months, so no more running stop lights or speeding for me. :( Those damn pigs pop out from anywhere nowadays, and if it's a little tiny Butt**** type town, rest assured they will throw the book at you for any infraction.

We have our rural rodes in Europe. So i suppose you can run the light,if there are no other cars near you.

i always drive through lights then wonder what color it was because i wasnt paying attention.

To be honest, I'd probablly just press lock on my doors. I mean, my windows are always up. Because I like heat or air conditioning. I don't like the windows being down. So I wouldn't have to worry about that. And honestly....If I saw someone approaching from the darkness, I'd have my foot ready to speed away.

It's not like Superman would be out to mug me, the person can't rip my door off and get me from outside. And no one shoots at a car. So I'd be safe until they got to close quarters, and then I could see them.

There would be no need to run the red light in fear, because you do something like that and crash, then you'd be alone...on the side of the road without a car. You'd be worse off than enduring whatever anxiety or fear that it takes for the light to turn green.

Once I was driving through a small town, I was stopped at a stop sign and a cop ran out from behind some bushes and put a ticket on my windshield.
