Yeah, I mean...all of these people, asking Clay or Zack or whomever, thinking they're gonna slip and reveal it like that....really??

These people are professionals and IF there's plans to release a Snyder cut, we'll find out when they want us to find out, not before and not certainly by randomly asking on social media.

I think its still up in the air. It will probably not happen, but there's a chance. That's why Snyder and co are not flat out denying the possibility, and keeping the talk going by being coy and mysterious.

Have low expectations, then you will not be too broken up about it. Learnt it the hard way with JL lol

I don't know man, I think him liking vero posts and posting those black and white images are one thing... But him posting a winky, smiley face at the explicit question "is the Snyder cut coming?" is a whole other scenario.

The Green Lantern stuff was different. It was straight up trolling by Armie. There's a difference between trolling and this. Armie was making fun of the impatient, rabid fanboys. This would be Zack trolling the fans who support and stand by him. That would be... Cruel and bizzarre. But yes I'll still try to keep my expectations in check.

Sadly, I have no expectations for the Snyder-Cut to be released in any form. I think Zack is just appreciating those who support him and his films. JL put a huge dent into my enthusiasm for these movies. The studio really screwed the pooch with JL and to those who actually defended them since Man of Steel.

Well tbh, the context was a bit different. It was a fan asking if all his recent posts have some deep meaning and him perhaps sending a message to the fans, and he replied with a winky face to that, to keep up the playful mood going. That's what I think.

What they did to Henry makes me sick. Henry (along with the others) are so brilliantly cast it hurts. I hope we can all put JL behind us and I hope Henry is Superman for a long time moving forward. They need to ink a new contract asap.

I love all those ascended ancient leaked clips. Especially the one with Cyborg projecting that hologram of his Avatar walking towards the Nazi camp. There's something so mysterious and captivating about them. When/If we do get the Snyder cut I feel like every single scene will hold such a special place in my heart It'll be like holding a loved on again after you thought you lost them in a flood or something.

No but seriously, shots and scenes that I would have appreciated and then moved on from, are instead going to hold so much more significance and emotional weight. Like the scene of Vic playing that football game. Had everything gone according to program and had Snyder stayed and released his movie, I would have found it cool and moved on. But finally getting to see it (along with all the other stuff) is probably going to be so moving. Not sure if this makes sense to anyone other than me.

We have too. The WB is not going to put out the Snyder cut mainly because it seems like they want to move on from him and his works. I think from here on out we'll probably get a Marvel style DCU.

Who knows what the course correction is nowadays but there were talks even before JL's release of the studio pretty much wanting a mixture of all kinds of tones and films regarding different moods and settings. The Aquaman testing mentioned how Wan put his signature horror stamp on his movie so I think we can still get DCEU; darker vibe going but I think WB wants to head in a different direction creatively. It's the story and the sense of the hero's being hero's is what might lighten things up but you can't do a Joker Origin film or say, JLDark and Marvel it up. It'll be worse than what JL was with the reshoots. I hope the studio is serious about branching out and still becoming their own thing. JL was a carbon copy of Marvel-izing their characters and it seriously went to s#%hit. They don't have to Marvel anything. Just pure a focus on creating good stories first.

Yep. I do think Snyder drew the shortest stick, hell WB gave him the short stick and then stuck it through his eye with JL, but I also think both directors were served a s***sandwich. Whedon was working under studio mandate to make the movie "more fun" and probably was promised a carrot if he'd deliver. Maybe WB told him his Batgirl movie was going to be fast tracked or something. Then when he didn't deliver and only managed to make the movie a dumb cartoon with dumb jokes: no longer Whedon Batgirl movie. Which I do think is a good thing but still, he got scapegoated (or at least they tried to) and thrown into the gutter.

i think it's more likely whedon was there under the guise of batgirl to do writing for JL

and snyder had the choice to direct his reshoots or leave (and take 100% of the blame if it came out bad)

he didn't want to do them and the stress of his daughters passing added to the decision
